Swift can endorse whoever she wants to endorse, but those making it out to be a massive deal probably don't understand her demographic was already voting one way. She doesn't sway anything. And anyone who is swayed and influenced to vote by her endorsing Harris or another celebrity endorsing Trump probably shouldn't be able to vote anyway.

Its not swaying one way or another, its getting them out to vote. Swift could easily be a bigger factor than RFK.

I'm not stressing over it because we have the Wacka Flocka Flame endorsement to counter it.
September 11, 20241 yr Okay, I gotta stop with all the screenshots. But sharing a full 100-minute debate as "our newest ad just dropped" is Fn cold.

I understand that his rube followers will go with him no matter what, but I can’t understand how undecided voters can look at Trump and think "yeah, why not”. Its not like the economy advanced so much during his presidency that we were all living like the Jetsons. Honestly it’s not even like Harris is that bad of a candidate. Your usual kinda dumb Democratic viewpoints, but it should be a no brainer and it’s not. And that confuses the hell out of me.

Maybe, but history shows since the 60s that 18-24 year old voters typically have the lowest turnout in elections. White 18-24 year olds have usually hovered below or around 50% turnout since 1964. The biggest upwards spike in recent elections have been Asians in that age cohort. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1096597/voter-turnout-18-24-year-olds-presidential-elections-historical/

It was about registering new voters, not flipping people who are in a real life cult.

I’m sure the number is close. Either way, it’s no bueno for the old rapist.

They are so active they've even given the right wing a boost.

Nobody is claiming she's converting undecideds, but she absolutely will boost turnout for those in younger demos who may not be the most reliable at showing up to cast ballots on election day. Vikas already posted the tweet on the surge in new registrations as a direct result of her endorsement. EDIT: tweet was for unique visitors to the site, we'll have to wait to see if they can track new registrations from those visits

Is it a concrete fact? No. But I'd say "people visiting Swift's registration site = people registering on the site" is more logical than "Haitians exist = Haitians are stealing and eating dog in a crime wave with no official police reports"

It’s always possible they were just bored and reading the page. Kids today love reading legal fine print.

Well, I told you they only visited the site because you said 300k have registered and I posted an article that said 300k have visited. I'm sure people have registered through the site, but has there been anything that has said how many have registered and is it the 300k number you said it was? I can go to her instagram post, click the link, and boost the visitor count without registering.

On Tuesday morning, the singer posted a short message on Instagram encouraging her 272 million followers to register to vote. Afterward, the website she directed her fans to — the nonpartisan nonprofit Vote.org — recorded more than 35,000 registrations, according to the organization. The 35,252 new registrations on National Voter Registration Day were the most since 2020, the organization said, and a 23% jump over last year. The number of 18-year-olds registered was more than double 2022. https://www.npr.org/2023/09/22/1201183160/taylor-swift-instagram-voter-registration
