Yep. She doesn't get to tell people abortion is fine according to your faith. She opened the door and he closed it on her.

That's not what she said.

She said the government doesn't get to tell a woman what to do with her body.

It's not about being "pro-abortion", it's about bodily autonomy and freedom from government interference in a personal decision.

She's right.

She said you don't have to abandon your faith to accept that you don't get to tell others how to make decisions about their own lives and bodies. Which is accurate. Dungy 's Faith is his own and he can live his life how he wishes.

She jumped into waters she should not have speaking about people's faith. He is a good man.

We will disagree on the interpretation

They're really bad you guys.

Again, she's not speaking about faith. She's speaking about the government's role (or lack thereof) in a choice a woman has to make.

A choice where one's personal faith often factors in.

Read her statement. It's worded specifically. She said one doesn't have to abandon their faith to agree that the government shouldn't get involved.

That's it.

There's nothing to disagree with there.

Great. We can disagree and move on and I have no problem with that. People like Dungy who think they can force their interpretation of their faith on to others can F off.

Nobody "dictates" how others perceive their faith.  But who ever said that Commie had any faith in the first place.

She said you don't have to abandon your faith and essentially what their priests and pastors and their faith says to believe woman can have abortions and governments don't have the right to outlaw it. That is jumping into faith so we are going to disagree and I stand with Dungy. He is a great guy who rarely gets into it with people. There is a reason he did and people respect him.

Dungy is picking a dumb fight. He's welcome to his opinion, but there's nothing incompatible with the idea that faith will lead many women to decide not to have an abortion and that government should stay out of that decision.

You're choosing to read more into her statement than she is saying. That's your prerogative, but you're projecting.
