This is all a function of the fact that, after 9 years, the media still has no ability or desire to cover Trump with the same scrutiny as other politicians. Now, part of that is simply Trump is good for ratings, and business is business. Another part is that Trump does so many abhorrent, objectionable and disqualifying things on an almost daily basis that there is no ability to really focus on any single action. This. This is how you attack Trump. To take down the cult leader, you have to just keep calling him stupid. Goad him into lashing out and doing something really disastrous, like offering to take a cognitive test live on TV or the internet. You have to insult him and bruise his ego, and he is so conceited he'll make wild claims like he invented the question mark or can get a 1,600 on the SAT right now. Then, call him on it.

Harris should say instead of a debate, I challenge Donald to an IQ test. Or a general knowledge test.

Trump lost WI in 2020. The "Trump outperforms his polls" narrative does not really resonate with me. Dems have outperformed their polls in the mid-terms and every special election since then. Remember when we were supposed to get a big red wave 2 years ago? Remember when the republicans were going to hold Santos' seat with any easy double digit win? And how Kansas and Ohio were going to vote to outlaw abortion by double digits. Trump outperformed his polls once. By that logic the Trumpers are right when they say he's flipping NY and CA

I agree that a post-Dobbs landscape makes things tricky, but it's that uncertainty (coupling of 2020 and 2022 polling inaccuracies) which is why I think WI is such a tough one to predict.
