Trump, Elon, and Portnoy all have you to thank for defending their honor so often. You seem threatened by the possibility of Portnoy being the next Republican nominee.

September 20, 20241 yr "You may never see me again but that’s OK." OK? The sooner nobody but your slack-witted family sees you, or your prison mates, the better off the world will be.

September 20, 20241 yr I'm sure all the "Christian" trumpbots in here will be outspoken about how the party of family values keeps associating itself with such upstanding candidates.

September 20, 20241 yr 4 minutes ago, we_gotta_believe said: This is all a function of the fact that, after 9 years, the media still has no ability or desire to cover Trump with the same scrutiny as other politicians. Now, part of that is simply Trump is good for ratings, and business is business. Another part is that Trump does so many abhorrent, objectionable and disqualifying things on an almost daily basis that there is no ability to really focus on any single action. But mainly it's because they don't want to tick off 40% of potential viewers by stating the obvious -- Donald Trump is a complete moron. His idiocy and depravity are just accepted and not new news. This is why they cry about Harris lack of policy specifics while letting Trump just yell "I'll reduce food prices to 2019 levels." Trump has no policy specifics, convictions, ideas or principles. He just says what people want to hear and moves on. He's too stupid to have any clue how to accomplish anything. The fact that real reporters won't call out his idiocy is infuriating, but...Trump is ratings gold.
September 20, 20241 yr This. This is how you attack Trump. To take down the cult leader, you have to just keep calling him stupid. Goad him into lashing out and doing something really disastrous, like offering to take a cognitive test live on TV or the internet. You have to insult him and bruise his ego, and he is so conceited he'll make wild claims like he invented the question mark or can get a 1,600 on the SAT right now. Then, call him on it. Harris should say instead of a debate, I challenge Donald to an IQ test. Or a general knowledge test.

The other side might blame them for an election loss if they don't vote in numbers for the candidate they should obviously be voting for. Let's focus on blaming them for a loss and pretend that's the most horrible outcome for them. Oh no! Trump is evil! Maybe this will convince them to vote for the people who want them dead now.

Whoa, Harris said she wants them all dead? That's pretty crazy nobody's reported on that. Thanks for that substantive contribution. Your input continues to be highly valued and respected!

September 20, 20241 yr Just now, we_gotta_believe said: Check the WI result vs the polling leading up to election day in 2020. Trump lost WI in 2020. The "Trump outperforms his polls" narrative does not really resonate with me. Dems have outperformed their polls in the mid-terms and every special election since then. Remember when we were supposed to get a big red wave 2 years ago? Remember when the republicans were going to hold Santos' seat with any easy double digit win? And how Kansas and Ohio were going to vote to outlaw abortion by double digits. Trump outperformed his polls once. By that logic the Trumpers are right when they say he's flipping NY and CA

By that logic the Trumpers are right when they say he's flipping NY and CA I agree that a post-Dobbs landscape makes things tricky, but it's that uncertainty (coupling of 2020 and 2022 polling inaccuracies) which is why I think WI is such a tough one to predict.
