I don't know a single Jewish person who is voting for Trump. And I'm in medicine. This obsession with Jewish voters by the MAGA crowd is hilarious. It's not gonna happen guys. I'm sure there are plenty that vote conservative but Trump is not winning over the rest en mass.

WI is a reliably blue state in presidential elections. Its only gone republican twice in my lifetime. Once in 84 when they all went red except Mondale's home state. And in 2016. In 2016 Hillary lost the WI primary by a lot. She lost WI in part because the Bernie bros either stayed home or went for Trump. Massively stupid of her not to suck it up and put him on the ticket (that whole campaign was the classic I just need to show up and I can beat this guy).

FL and OH used to be battleground states too, until they weren't. Now they'll be red for the foreseeable future. States shift over time. WI is undergoing that shift. Don't underestimate the stupidity of the average american, or the levels of racism and misogyny still deeply rooted throughout this country.

That's where my wife is. She thinks Trump will win because the country will never vote for a black woman for president. I was worried Obama would lose in 2008 for the same reason. I thought people would tell pollsters they were voting for Obama but when the time came the would vote for McCain.

Regular people in medicine aren't polling their patients on who they are voting for.

Why does it even matter what colleagues in medicine are voting for? It depends on the area the hospital is in. 

My colleagues in medicine are very pro Trump.  We have a ton of doctors, PAs, NPs, nurses, etc who were antimask during covid, and anti covid Vax.

Eh, 2008 was a bit unique though due to the surrounding circumstances. But 2012 was closer to what I expected there. It was not at all surprising to me that Biden beat Trump by a larger margin than Obama beat Romney by. Think about that for a second... Joe F'ing Biden outperformed Barrack Obama. Sure you can say Trump was so reviled that it made it a layup for Biden, but the states where it really mattered where far closer than they should have been (including Wisconsin!) 

The problem here is that people, by and large, are morons. They think the economy is in bad shape despite virtually every single metric indicating the opposite. They think Biden is solely to blame for inflation despite the fact that Trump contributed more to the national debt than Biden has. They sure as ish don't have money in the market so they have no clue on how well it's been performing since Biden was elected. 

And that's not even getting into the racism and misogyny aspects. I was supremely confident heading into 2020 based on the polling and was still shocked at how close states like PA and WI ended up being. Likewise, I was floored that Biden won GA so it just reinforced that crazy ish can happen in either direction.

I don't know a single Jewish person who is voting for Trump either. They are all reform Jews. Among Hasidic Jews? I don't know because they keep mostly to themselves. It seems Trump has received vocal support from some Hasidic Jews. And they wear payot and dress conservatively so they look "Jewish". Reform Jews look like everyone else. Overall I think it's just another false narrative. Get support from a small subset of people that look the part, and voila the whole population is now in his pocket.
