If they flew them in illegally, and I think the exceptions they are using are illegal or at the very least being abused, then they are still illegal.

But the question is always: how much, and how far?

Right now the vast majority of politically juiced crazy is on the right. They don't just have some nutter-butters voting, they also have a lot of absolutely insane people voted into office and have thrice nominated one of the worst most insane people to ever run for president. They've not only nominated him three times, but they have reconstituted the whole party around him as a cult of personality. 

The most you can say on the left is that a few members of Congress are a bit out there, AOC has nice cans, and some of the further left are dabbling in socialism. 

So sure, of "people voting for Harris" there are some number of nutjobs.

But the crazy is way concentrated on the right, and on the right the crazies are driving the bus.
