September 20, 20241 yr Somewhere close to 5 million will vote in Georgia. Counting every ballot by hand is going to require a counter and a witness, and probably will be hand counted twice. Sustained pace for a pair of counters to validate and agree on the dozen or whatever races that are probably on each ballot is going to take what, at least 10s/ballot? So 2 people count and validate 6 ballots/minute. That's 360 ballots/hour, or 180 ballots/man/hour. 5,000,000/180 = 27.8k man hours. You'd need about 3,500 ballot counters to do this in an 8 hour period. Not counting every time some partisan observer who's also present contests a ballot.

Been trending down 2021-2023. If there was some partisan driven suppression of crime stats you'd think it would have happened under Trump as well. But it didn't. The crime stats aren't perfect, but that doesn't mean that just because you disagree with them we should discard them.
