Trump's behavior is completely normalized by all news outlets. He is guilty of raping a woman. He led an armed insurrection to try to overthrow the government. He doesn't know where he is half the time. Whenever Biden got confused they covered it for days. With Trump they don't even mention any of it. As far as polls go, you have to look at the actual sample. Like the one KZ posted in Quinnipiac is total crap. It doesn't provide any demographic information about the people they polled. A poll is more likely to be accurate if the sample is actually representative of the population. For example one CNN poll that had Trump 5 points ahead of Biden had a sample which was 70% republican. If I ask a hundred people who they plan to vote for and 70 of them are registered republicans of course the result is going to put Trump ahead. The media is not fair and objective. They are all owned by corporations whose only function is to try to get you to consume more media. They want you to think this election is close, so you will keep watching.

I am hearing, but have not yet verified, that people paid to be at the rally, have to stay 10 minutes, but as soon as the venmo hits their accounts, they leave, en masse. Still running it down, but it is easy to believe.

In an election that might come down to thousands or tens of thousands of votes in a handful of swing states, cutting down on rampant fraudulent votes is probably the single most important thing any republican candidate could do.

September 25, 20241 yr Adding on to the GOTV stuff, one of the reasons in 2020 that the race was tighter than the polls indicated was that the Democrats, in response to COVID, changed their entire GOTV operation to avoid in person contact -- they used phone banking, text messages, etc. Meanwhile, the GOP kept their operations mainly unchanged (Trump was holding in person rallies as well). Democrats have long believed this caused their underperformance, and they are going back to the Obama-era GOTV operations. In a polarized electorate, turnout is the key.

JD Vance emerged as the VP because Pence had to withdraw support from Trump....because Trump almost got him and his family killed. You got people talking about policies, and JD Vance's weirdness, and whatever....and we forget, Pence—a Vice President—almost F'n died.
