September 26, 20241 yr I found the video. The NY Post cuts it to a pretty short 41s clip, but she's angry and taking responsibility for not having more security in place before the session. This is not her saying it's her fault, but unlike some other leaders she was expressing that she felt she had a responsibility and they miscalculated the risk that Trump's sycophants posed. It was still Trump who sat on his fat ass for hours and did nothing while his supporters sacked the Capitol. He could have ended it at any time by speaking to his supporters and/or calling in the national guard - something he uniquely had the ability to order without question. Instead when Pelosi, McConnell, Schumer, etc. requested NG support for a Capitol building being overrun, the army HQ screwed up either willfully or simply due to incompetence and concerned themselves more with the optics of deploying the NG, while the troops sat around twiddling their thumbs wondering why they weren't out there restoring order. It's all in the record dude. You're choosing to believe twisted accounts of it.
