Who missed the point about swearing an oath of service, and that every year the military jabs you with what the military deems necessary. I know, I got stuck every year.

Getting stationed in Spain meant more. Returning to the US from Spain meant more.

Goes back to the Revolution. Washington had the army inoculated against smallpox. 
 

Personally I would have just found a way in the UCMJ to throw people into the brig. You get the shot, you get out.

That would work. It is always a shame to lose good people, the military is always in short supply of those. They are not big on exceptions to orders.

Also I’m not big on group punishment, but if you have a member of that unit that refuses the shot, confine that unit to the barracks. Can’t be jeopardizing overall readiness.

I'm so glad you brought that up. Most of you have no damn clue what was even in there past what you hear people tell you about Trump blocking it. I'm glad it was blocked if only because it took power from immigration judges and gave it to immigration agents. Did you know that was in there? You'd rather have agents making decisions than judges? Only an idiot would.
