If his campaign handlers are smart they take his phone and give him a week off the campaign trail. I expect both to get solid bounces and because Vance came in so low his might be be a bit bigger. I expect the data to show a draw but you are right the loser here might be Trump because as well as Vance defended him, its really hard to see Trump making that rational image stick.

October 2, 20241 yr I think Walz came across as likeable and did much better than people thought. That doesn't mean I want him to be president, but I'd take him over Harris in a second. JD was more likeable than I imagined. I thought he was a horrible pick. He wasn't a bumbling idiot with awkward moments that looked weird. He came across as magnanimous and the guy who was 1 at Yale. My biggest takeaway is I have hope for the future after it. Hope that we can have two people on the top of the ticket who debate like that in 4 years.
