October 2, 20242 yr I think Walz came across as likeable and did much better than people thought. That doesn't mean I want him to be president, but I'd take him over Harris in a second. JD was more likeable than I imagined. I thought he was a horrible pick. He wasn't a bumbling idiot with awkward moments that looked weird. He came across as magnanimous and the guy who was 1 at Yale. My biggest takeaway is I have hope for the future after it. Hope that we can have two people on the top of the ticket who debate like that in 4 years.

His worst moments were not being capable of stfu when he got fact checked and not able to answer direct questions such as if the 2020 election was stolen. Obviously he can’t answer some questions without incriminating his running mate or lying, so he was F’ed either way. But at least he’s a mostly civil person that could have a conversation most of the time. Better than expected.
