That's not how it works.

You shared the claim that they're getting $13k Visa cards.

Back it up.

They don’t GAF if something is true or not. They are gonna eat that entire can of Pringles, even when they are stale.

New York giving $350/wk to migrants via debit card ?  Funds not coming from FEMA though.

https://council.nyc.gov/joseph-borelli/2024/07/03/nyc-to-spend-millions-on-new-round-of-pre-paid-debit-cards-for-migrants/

Right and even that works out to like $12 a person a day for just food and baby supplies. If they have a problem with that, fine. Don't go to NY. But this nonsense that Kamala is giving 13k to every illegal is obviously false and yet people just blindly accept it.

It comes from as ridiculous a place as possible: Twitter.

Some guy claims to have just followed "Venezuelan refugees" to a store, saw them use a visa card, they of course conveniently dropped their receipt, and they receipt showed a $13k balance on the Visa card.

Totally credible.

What a fruit. And look at Trump's face.

No - you dispute it.  I posted something. You said it is wrong.  Prove it wrong with what you say is correct.

If I say wildfires are caused by Jewish Space Lasers and you say I'm wrong because there's no such thing as Jewish Space Lasers, should I shift the burden of proof back to you to prove they don't exist? Is this how a supposed "lawyer" thinks it works?

He’s a lawyer? LOL

That’s not how it works. You have to prove that your claim is true with some sort of "credible” evidence. You don’t have to be a lawyer to understand how the burden of proof works.

FYP

How the f can you possibly defend flying illegals into the country and giving them benefits.  You people are twisted.

We'll need a citation to the EMB rule book for that statement.

So he claims. Law school acceptance standards must've been super low back in the 1960's.

Did Trump University give out law degrees?

There is absolutely zero chance you were ever a lawyer.

#1 - we are not in a court of law, we are on the Eagles Message Board

#2 - I copied and pasted a tweet.  If somebody disagrees, they are free to post something disproving it.  The original poster is under no obligation to post further information to back up the tweet.

Of course, if you disagree, you are free to post the rules which state otherwise.

There is absolutely zero chance you have a functioning brain

No is doing that. Strawman and more infantile thinking

you made a baseless claim, evidently

here is how logic works. Your claim is essentially  the hypothesis. In actual thinking, this would be based on some evidence you can draw a reasonable conclusion from. If the hypothesis is tested and fails, then the null holds and the claim is deemed false unless further data are submitted.

just take the L and please learn how to actually make an intelligent argument

If i tweet that you are a traitor is the burden of proof on you to disprove it?

logic hint: it is impossible to disprove a negative. Thats why a hypothesis must be a positive assertion to be valid

There is no burden of proof whatsoever on a football chat board.  Zero.  There is no burden of proof in a disagreement outside of a legal proceeding.  Do you even know what a burden of proof is and where it is applicable?
