And if they had traded him for Bogdan and Burks, they would have won last night.

Was one of the last remaining chips the Pistons had in a sign and trade as well when they overpay for Harris.

Serious question.  What do we have to lose by bringing Tobi off the bench?  He kills spaces for the starters and he isn't a corner 3 point threat.  If he complains, tell him his poor play during stretches when Joel and Maxey were out, was the deciding factor.  It's his last year anyway so there is nothing to lose.  I think this team would be much better off.  He can take his slow, 90's style of play and get his 10-15 points off the bench instead of wasting starting minutes.

Lowry, Maxey, Hield, Batum, Reed

Harris, Melton, Oubre, Payne, Council

Martin should never see the floor unless we are really injured or its a blowout.

Rotations will slowly tighten where it is 8 guys and probably cross off Payne, KJ, and  Ricky

He isn't a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd option on a winning basketball team so now he is being forced to do more than he normally has to and being exposed for it. It's who he is and always was and contract only makes it worse.

If Embiid comes back and he goes back to a 4th option then he will play a lot better but now all eyes on Tobias and it's not him.

Why I said all year this team needed two more guys and unfortunately it didn't happen because cap space. Gotta protect that lovely cap space

cap space is not an excuse because there were expiring contracts on players who could have helped this year, that they could have traded for. Which wouldnt have affected cap space in the summer.

Hield was one. There were others that Daryl just didnt make the move for.

Bogdanovic was another. Better fit than Harris because he is the far better catch and shoot 3 point shooter.

playing hurt because he wanted to hit 65 games to win mvp :nonono:  and that's why they'll never win a championship.

I said before, guarantee the quick snip surgery he had instead of a full repair was all about him being able to play for an olympic gold medal. Had nothing to do with any desire to get back and help this team win a championship.

Its about the olympic medal for his trophy case, and legacy. This is the one and only year he will have an opportunity to do it. THATS what he is chasing.

Otherwise, he could/should have had a repair- better long term prognosis. And hit the ground running after Moreys big 2 max slot summer ready to contend for a title next year. We all know he will be hurt again, but in his mind, youd bet on yourself next year.

It makes more sense in every way. It just would have took away his chance at olympic gold. Thats all he cares about. Individual accolades.

He also needed to play 65 to be eligible for All-Pro and it's a money trigger for a lot of guys as well.

Totally agree.

Bench his @$$ already.

Now beat the Bucks Sunday!

Feels like every time Harris touches the ball something bad happens. He’s a net negative at this point, and at a ridiculous salary. Morey is an idiot for not just trading him for whatever he could get.

His brain also process basketball in slow motion. There was a time last night where they came out of a timeout and the play was for Tobi to pass it to a wide open Oubre under the rim for an easy dunk. He saw Oubre wide open and waited an extra couple seconds before the pass. By the time Oubre got the ball, it was a missed contested layup.

If we have Batum and Lowry back tomorrow, all we need to do is go down 18 in the first half and it’s a nearly guaranteed win.

The energy is there but the shooting sucks.

This lineup is dog crap

There is no spacing. Can’t get Hield any clean looks at 3.

I'm going to just keep sounding like a broken record... Harris just flat out sucks at this point. Not even just overpaid, but legit a bad player.

$39.2M - 8 points
