morey is killing it so far this offseason!

Be ready for over the top Petrusev hype. They'll push him a our draft pick for this year since he's coming over.

I'll buy it too because I loved the pick.

The team official confirmed what is (mostly) clear to the eye to see: a list of targets for the Sixers' stated goal to buy a second-round pick, in addition to a fairly loose depth chart for Philadelphia heading into the summer and next season. It was conveyed that this shot was likely taken early in the night/before the draft, as the draft board has shifted plenty since it was taken.

The second board shows a chart that is roughly as follows:

PG Tyrese Maxey

SG De'Anthony Melton / Furkan Korkmaz / Jaden Springer

SF James Harden (red ink) / Danuel House Jr.

PF Tobias Harris / P.J. Tucker

C Joel Embiid / Paul Reed (red ink) / Filip Petrusev

A team official said someone viewing the image should not read too much into the depth chart, which features a list of Philadelphia's potential free agents below that group (including Georges Niang, Shake Milton, and Jalen McDaniels, whose likelihood of returning to Philly we touched on earlier this week).

So we got 1,2,8, and 37

The younger brother of Marvin, Marcus Bagley shows a lot of promise but is still putting it all together on the court. He’s a big time athlete with upside who has the work ethic to be great.

Although Marcus’s all around game is still somewhat raw he shows a lot of promise as a big wing who can score, hit the 3, defend and rebound the ball. He changes ends in the blink of an eye (like Marvin) and his transition game is strong.

His best NBA skill is his 3pt shooting and ability to space the floor. He’s got a really nice release and shows a lot of promise with his outside shooting, although is not yet consistent enough hitting the open 3.

Has dealt with injuries.

NBA Comparison: Isaiah Hartenstein

Smith is a lanky, quick, agile scoring guard who can get going from outside and put up points in a hurry.

He does a lot of his scoring from mid range and out and isn’t a big time finisher in the lane, mainly due to his slight frame.

Needs to be more efficient and sometimes needs a lot shots to get his points.

Has a somewhat low release on his jumper.

He’s not a very powerful player and could get pushed around on the defensive end but his scoring prowess makes him an intriguing prospect.

Council IV is a well built 6-6 shooting guard who plays with a downhill style and is wired to score the ball.

He excels in transition and getting out on the break. A great finisher who plays above the rim with ease.

Is not yet a consistent 3pt shooter and will have to improve his shooting to maximize his value at the next level.

A solid one on one defender who can guard 1-3.

Tubelis is a highly skilled power forward from Lithuania who is starring for the Arizona Wildcats. At 6-9 with a strong frame he’s got the size to bang in the post but his skill level is more of wing, with his open court ball handling, passing and play-making ability.

He’s a great rebounder and he loves to rip and run, taking the rebound and leading the fast break. He’s got surprisingly good handles and great body control for a big man. Overall he has great court vision and passing and this is especially impressive in the open court.

He can also take the ball coast to coast and finish above the rim or with a running (lefty) lay up.

Tubelis can also do some damage with his back to the basket where he uses his quickness and soft touch to score in close. He understands angles well and is skilled at using the rim to protect his shot from shot blockers.

wow...a guy who can actually dunk.

I like the signings. Super athletes with size. Nurse has developed such types in the past

Smith was a baller at NC State.  If they can help develop him further he could be a decent contributor.

38% from the field on 16 attemps is a very yuck number combined it with 70% from FT. He is a chucker to me

Eh. He was the focus of every defense, yet still mainly carried the load. He can play.

Solid UDFA haul for not being able to buy into the 2nd round. Smith and Council have been projected as 2nd round picks in most mock drafts.

They seem like fine signings.  Best we can hope is that one or 2 of them are ready to play by the time we start our rebuild.

I actually like Ricky council better than Smith. The only thing that really bothers me with council is that he’s not a good three point shooter. Really brings his FG % down but he did show in the SEC he could get to the line. Some hope in that the last two years at the free throw line he shot 85 and basically 80% last year. So maybe he can be developed like sixers did with Robert Covington to where he’s a nice solid role player. Not that he is Covington as Covington had more size and better 3pt shooter and rebounder coming out.  If you can get his three-point shot up to a good enough level (36-38) where he could be a nice role player for you. I think that’s gonna take about 2-3 years to get to that point.

Arizona’s HC is Tommy Lloyd

Maxey wasnt a good shooter either, supposedly.

Luckily these guys dont have to play right now, so we can see where he is in 2 years.

I hope that with like 5 UDFAs for the blue coats, it means guys like Petrusev, McClung, and maybe even Springer get a solid amount of time on the court with the 6ers.

I’ve watched Tubelis for 3 years at Arizona. He is a very talented but frustrating player. He is a solid rebounder and runs the court really well for a big guy (finishes well in transition) but terrible defender. He hasn’t been able to extend his shot to the 3 point line. You’d think he could cause his shot isn’t bad. The biggest frustration has been in the tournament he has lost confidence and just become a shell of what he’s looked like during the regular season. He’s soft when the games get bigger for a lack of better words.  I hope he comes through and is a player but i tend to think he winds up playing overseas and making a lot of money.

he’s an awesome kid though. had a couple shots and beers with him this season. Super friendly. His GF was not as friendly lol
