December 30, 20232 yr Be nice if someone could step up and help Maxey out tonight. He has 20 right now, everyone else combined has 19.

Next most is 3. Last bunch of possessions hes bringing it down and shooting it before there are any passes. No one really has a chance to help out right now.
December 30, 20232 yr More than anything, the defensive effort is not there tonight. At least not yet. This is going to be one of those games where they try to hang close with half hearted effort and try to clamp down in the 4th to come back and win.
December 30, 20232 yr At least Maxey is getting some respect from the refs tonight. You never see him go to the line this much. And he probably should, considering a lot of his game is slashing.
December 30, 20232 yr 4th quarter. 7 point game. Offense needs to go back to all maxey. Everyone else needs to start expending energy on D to lock it down.
December 30, 20232 yr We have no bigs who can handle Sengun. Last possession Beverly did the best job on him out of everyone all night.
December 30, 20232 yr lets stop getting Harris open looks from 3. His bricks are keeping Houston in it.
December 30, 20232 yr Why the hell would you run a 2 point play to Jock freaking Landale when you're behind by 3? The role players all stepped up in that last quarter.

December 30, 20232 yr It really sounds like Tobias Harris is drawing a lot of interest too. It seems like there is a decent chance something happens on that front, and then they really only need to work on the margins. Didnt need anything major.
December 30, 20232 yr I like OG, but that seems like an awful trade for the Knicks. Two really good players and draft picks?

Still so many names that can potentially help us, namely at Tobias' position. Markkanen, Bogdanovic (DET maintains they are not interested in trading him but we will see), Grant, Siakam, Wiggins, Finney-Smith...
December 30, 20232 yr some realgm people arey saying the knicks only gave a 2nd rounder. Not sure if true.

Said years ago when he was unhappy in Chicago they should’ve dealt for him as it wasn’t going to be as costly and he was unhappy there. Don’t see that happening with utah based on what a couple coaches at Arizona said to me

Don’t see that happening with utah based on what a couple coaches at Arizona said to me Yes. Likewise, the best and potentially easiest deal to get done is a Grant/Brogdon package. It perfectly fits our needs of a 3 and D stretch 4, and scorer, defender, ball handler for the 2nd unit. Both players being on the same team gives us a 1 stop shop, and we have salaries to match. Its sensible, and seems easy to accomplish. And the underrated, unexciting move which could pay dividends would be something for Dorian Finney-Smith. Id also be pretty interested in replacing Harris with Wiggins- someone who seems to be a more consistent shooter, and is more athletic and versatile.
December 30, 20232 yr I am looking through trade target lists right now, and KAT's name keeps showing up. Seems crazy with Minnesota's record. But, there seems to be a little bit of smoke there that theyd be willing to trade him.
