I'm not a PSU grad, so it's easier for me to say they are who they are. An annual top 20 team because they recruit so well, but not a top 10 team because of coaching, QB play and general lack of physicality.

You are correct and the coaching piece is so frustrating because every year its the same thing...

Those of us going to the school hate Franklin too btw. He's not a coach that can get you there. Been saying that all year.

Unfortunately the moron outgoing AD they had a couple of years ago gave JF a huge extension for no reason. They are screwed unless they want to eat that money.

Our JV plays on Monday afternoon.    Wednesdays are freshman games.   

Well my current school has let me down on this beautiful Saturday. Let's see if my prior school can save it lol.

Franklin is a good coach in the sense that he's a good CEO of a program. But then you have to hire strong coordinators. He hasn't, and voila. 

Regarding the draft, the Penn State LBs should all be Eagles targets.

See my sons school was other way around. His freshmen year he played Monday's. Now that he's a sophomore on JV he plays Wednesday.

He's a good recruiter. But he needs to stay out of the Saturday planning..

Sometimes making a change isn't always the best thing.

Manny Diaz was a good hire. Unfortunately, he can't find an OC to save his life.

In what way is he a good CEO?   Part of being a good CEO would be to get the proper people in place around you.  He hasn't done that.   The DC is very good.  The OC seems unqualified to run the offense at St. Joe's Prep.

Franklin has shown time and time again he can't win the big games. And I don't have an answer on who replaces him but that doesn't mean you stick with him. You find someone.

I think part of that is that Franklin is an offensive guy.  So, he has his fingerprints on that side.  He lets Diaz run the defense, and we see the results.

Bama gonna win this game but if I was betting I'd take the nine points Tennessee is getting. That's way to much for this rivalry.
