Rather than running Gainwell, would they be able to just concede the down and distance to preserve the health of the offensive line?  I think I’d rather them spike the ball than run with Gainwell at this point.

Why?  As we see around the league when other teams try it they don't grt anywhere near the push the Eagles do.  Hurts and his lower body strength is a huge part of it's success along eith the Eagles offensive line.

From where they’re running it why do I want to have multiple exchanges of the ball. I only having the center to quarterback exchange, I don’t risk any potential handoff screwup or penetration by the Defense. As soon as he gets the snap, he’s already going forward, it is almost impossible to stop him from getting in there. If this was 1 st and goal from the 2 or 3 then I’d get it. But from that spot, why change it?
