It is obvious that Opeta is a big downgrade for Jergena in both the run and the pass game.  

What is more obvious is that our safety position is subpar.  It has been that way since training camp.  Get it fixed Howie

Defense is playing with basically no safeties out there. Brown is a rookie and edmunds just sucks. They need to make a trade for a safety. It’s obvious. middle of the field eagles can’t cover anyone linebacker or secondary.

This has been who he is all season.  Its not just tonight, or even just the last two weeks.   He needs to fix it.    Both of his turnovers tonight were completely on him and on his lack of ball security.  First one, he felt the rush, but didn't cover up the ball while there were so many hands around him.  For a guy who's talked about being so strong, he needs to be stronger with the ball in his HANDS... plural!  As in BOTH hands.    And the decision to throw with that defender that close right in his face was boneheaded.  Almost nothing good can come from that.  Best case scenario really is that it falls harmlessly incomplete.  He can't throw the ball, because what's likely to happen will be bad more often than good.

Our safety position and linebackers can’t cover. Have a rookie with limited experience due to injury. Plus he’s a 3rd rounder. And edmunds is just flat out bad. Dean in his second year but basically barely played and Cunningham/morrow can’t cover. 

Not sure how we've gotten zero turnover luck on defense the past month. Time to change that!
