Calm down Cindy. Stop crying. Would have been better if Bryson Stott was there and they played his walk up song.

Still cool to see though.

Sure it is. Evans is out. We're down a safety

He’s wishcasting on Brown. Meanwhile we’ve watched Evans and Edmunds play and struggle ahead of him.

The Midnight Green looks so blah after watching that game.

That explains their red zone plan.

Go Vikings!

Jalen Hurts now 9-0 in regular season games against a team with a winning record since 2022.

Whatever it is, they have to put it on the injury report per NFL rules, so we'll find out soon.

This sounds like a questionable tag for next week with the potential they rest him going into the bye.

Good thing we have these hard hitting beat writers. ESP, he's fine, look at him run.

Meanwhile.

At safety...long term Brown and Blankenship might be it.  Short term, they need a starter because it seems they aren't ready to crown Brown.  And immediate term, aka 6 days from now, they need 2 starters because I'm not sure how ready Blankenship is to play a full game and if that dude can stay healthy.

CB is the one where I want starters.  I really think Bradberry and Slay are hanging on by a thread.  There is no nickel.  Jobe doesn't deserve to be in the conversation.  Ricks and Ringo...sure, maybe, I don't know.  It's crazy to think they don't need at least 2 long term starting CBs, one outside and one inside, that aren't presently on the roster.

I’d be absolutely stunned if we traded for an outside corner. We’re tied to Bradberry and Slay and traded a future 3 for Ringo. You hate Jobe, and that’s fine, but he really hasn’t been bad.

Maybe we trade for a nickel though.

I think he's been playing with an injury since that weird twisted ankle looking play a few games ago.

What are bigger needs? I could see backup RT, sure. But if you are going to say RB when we don’t even let Penny dress then can’t agree there.

Penny hasnt cracked the roster for unknown reasons. If they can trade for Taylor, he will play and make the offense unstoppable even when Hurts is struggling.

DE and LB are going to be more impactful for the D and a backup S. As well as a RB. I used to say 3rd WR as well but maybe Julio is going to fix that.

Regardless of how we felt about him predraft or long term, there is something stopping the coaches from playing him right now over Edmunds/Evans.

Coaches will always have more hesitation than fans (and media) to plug in talented rookies over seemingly incapable vets...usually, obviously, the professionals are right.  But that veteran safety blanket OFTEN causes coaches to overlook and underuse the younger upgrade sitting right on their bench.

Safety and RB are 2 of the most common positions to see that.  If a coach of a SB contending team with franchise Qb doesn't trust a young RB in pass protection, they'll never sniff the field.  If a DC doesn't trust a DB to line up or execute the right coverage, then Edmunds will take very snap over them.

My guess is a knee strain or contusion. They can test for structural damage on the sideline, if it was serious they'd have kept him out. Could be a very mild MCL or something or possibly a bone bruise. Early in the game on one of the plays he got tackled, he kinda hit the ground knee first and it looks like his knee slammed into the ground and he got up a little slow. So it's possible he has a knee contusion and it swelled up a bit.

In case you forgot, we shut down their offense with Edmunds, Brown, Scott (who arrived this week), and Ricks on on the field.

They were missing Achane and Waddle was not 100%, they lost a starting o-lineman as well

Ochocinco turning into an Eagles fan for no particular reason is one of my favorite story lines

He had a brace on that knee

Hating Jobe and thinking a udfa CB who often gets targeted doesn't belong in the conversation about future starters at the position are 2 different things.

They're not trading for Taylor he just signed a new deal
