Wait a minute. Howie just got this guy on our team right before Dallas Week?  Ok Then.

I like him already.

How does Howie keep pulling this off? Titans fans must loathe us 😅

Might be the most likeable Eagles group I can remember. This is special.

Safety was a big need. None of the safeties on this roster have stayed healthy this season other than Edmunds.

Who did you have in mind?

I don't really know the sorbitol players available but I've been saying LB, DE, and RB2

Lmao

I guess generally as a rest stop kind of place. There seems to be more of that type of place being built and Buc-ees will start having some competition.

Yes, but I don’t think it’s anything worth the hype. I don’t like to stop much on road trips, so if the stars align and we end up stopping there I’m going to eat, but definitely avoid their bbq.

Bucee’s is the 21 century version of Stuckey’s of the 1960-1970s.

Also the fact that last night was the last night I had to watch Edmunds in an Eagles uniform is pretty awesome. Middle Tennessee boys, lead us to the promised land.

I don’t completely disagree with this but he is a third round choice in 2024 on a three year contract, then.  That said, I didn’t expect him to be so raw and the stiffness that made him available in the fourth is quite evident.  He gives me Davon Taylor vibes.

I think it’s a matter of expectations. I didn’t expect him to contribute at all in 2023. For me it was always about trying to get ahead of the age we have at CB by using a moderate amount of resources.

What a day. Phillies need to finish this off tonight to complete the day !

I can tell you that on routes from here to Paris, Texas and onto Houston and Galveston that my wife would put George to shame.

CBP is electric.  Wow.

2 time first team all-pro and leads all safeties in INTs over that time period.

He doesn’t get hype because he plays for the Titans and no one watches him, but lots of NFL players say he is THE best.

PFF has him as #3 from last season.

• The do-it-all Derwin James takes No. 1: There isn’t a better combination of run defense (75.3 grade), coverage (74.5) and pass rush (90.9) at the position.

• Minkah Fitzpatrick, Kevin Byard round out the top three: Fitzpatrick's 82.4 overall grade ranked third among qualified safeties, and Byard's 79.5 overall grade was a top-10 mark.

Hufanga was better last year. PFF can get lost in the weeds sometimes. But obviously Hufanga has the benefit of a better supoprting cast so not always an apples to apples comparison. Simmons had a pretty good year too, but again he probably had more help. All things considered, you're right in that he's probably top 5 but I still think there's plenty of doubt and room for debate there.

I can’t believe he conversed with him. It was never going to end well. manager seems like a cool guy though.

Goedert pushes with all he's got.

But he isn’t in there on all Brotherly Shoves.  I think there are slight variances.  I do wonder if that is because of personnel from the previous play to prevent substitution or there are slight variations in the play. May try to watch for that in my All 22 watching.

Their catcher is a disciplined hitter. Lots of talent there

He’s really good. Great trade for them. Gave up varsho and got him and gurriel.

Their pitcher starts scared. Make him pay Turner

Taylor always looked lost on the field.  I think Ringo looked ok in the pre-season.  My recollection is that he had a couple of PBUs but gave up a long catch in the Cleveland game.  He had decent coverage on the catch but seemed to lose track of the receiver when he turned to look for the  ball. I can't recall him making any mistakes in games this season.
