I remember the facemask. Didn’t remember the story of the fan dying in the stands. That’s sad.

Makes 14m next season non guaranteed. I could see a situation where they guarantee him an extra year but lower that 2024 cap number in a restructure.

No. $9M next year plus a roster bonus due in March for $4M. They could try to restructure or extend him but I doubt he’s going to wave off that roster bonus for no reason, so likely cut would be my guess.

We can either cut him with no cap hit, restructure his deal to spread the 14 million 2024 cap hit over multiple years (Byard would probably hold out so unlikely) or extend him.

Of course the refs can't let a great and entertaining play stand. They have to remind us who controls these games. Boo!
