What irritates me is fan making it out like the Phillies are clearly the better team and dbacks have no business in this series. It looked that way after 2 games but games 3-6, the dbacks have been the better team in 3 of 4 of those games. It’s why they’ve won 3 of 4. Can say Thomson helped contribute which is true but the dbacks have taken advantage of it. Phillies have had chances where dbacks manager screwed up and just haven’t done it.

I look at it this way, I would bet dbacks are gonna be loose tomorrow. They are essentially playing with house money. No one expected them to come back from 0-2 or win 2 in Philly. So if they lose it’s what many thought they’d do. The pressure is entirely on the Phillies. Expected to win the series. Up 3-2 coming home. Up 2-0. All this isn’t good when you guys are coming up to the plate and just trying to hit home runs to win games. When the Phillies are at their best, it’s not that they’re just hitting home runs. They have good at bats and it leads to good swings and contact. For 2 out of the last 4 games it’s been ugly.
