Cousins has put up a lot of numbers throughout his career. He's not a playoff QB but he throws for a lot of yards. Not sure why people are surprised when he does

Kurt Cousins actually played well in Primetime. San Fran back to back losses. Purdy hasn't played a full season of games yet so don't be shocked when you see these growing pains.  Birds 1 game lead in the Conference for #1 Seed.  2 1/2 Game Lead in the NFC East.  Eagles and Chiefs were the only 5-1 teams to survive this week.

It really does .

My take away is that the 9ers played their best ball to start the season. They’re regressing to the mean. Still a good team, but they are very beatable.

Meanwhile I still don’t think the Eagles have hit their stride yet. Regression to our mean should result in fewer turnovers, better play by Hurts and Smith, and hopefully better red zone production.

Well that's 2 weeks in a row that the mighty Niners have looked good but not dominant. It is shocking to me how the NFL pundits began to compare Purdy to Montana. The guy on Rich Eisen made that ridiculous overreaction that the Niners could defeat an NFL All Star Team?!? Every Sunday is a new day and most of these (not talking about you Denver) play with pride and come out each week thinking that they can get a win. Cousins isn't known for having great primetime performances, but he shined today, even without the great Justin Jefferson.
