Road game against an AFC opponent.  If it matters, it would matter the least.

Yep, rather lose to the Jets than have Rivera go for 2 and get a division loss

If the Phils win tomorrow, that **** Adolis Garcia is going to be insufferable in the series. He's such a toolbag. Dude admires every fly ball like he just hit a walk off grand slam in a game 7. If I were manager it would take every ounce of restraint not to have one of my pitchers plunk that dude several times per game. Total hot head wannabe tough guy.

Lions will probably end up with the #1 seed now.  Their schedule is so easy.

Two against the Vikings, at Dallas, and at the Chargers still remaining.

We'll see.

Some people actually criticized the Eagles for letting Hargrave walk and then they drafted Carter.

We lost last week to the Jets and it was suggested by a couple on here. Who cares about them, focus on us.

First off, whoever suggested that is a Fing moron and knows nothing about football, which is 75-80% of TATE

Second, I think it's important to focus on our NFC competitors when we're not playing and what their fanbase(s) are saying.

It's a good way to decompress and asses the competition.

I mean, you couldn’t guarantee to get Carter when Hargrave left, let alone how good Carter would be.

Imagine we don’t have Carter. It would be a very different dynamic on the DL.

I don’t recall seeing one person do such a thing

Looking ahead...

Lose to the Chiefs, split with Dallas, drop one to Buffalo/SF/Seattle (ideally Buffalo), sweep Was/NYG/Arz/NYG.

That's 13-4.

Who suggested to blow the team up?

That is correct, but letting Hargrave go was the right move, even if it was a calculated risk.

I’m not point names out. But, it’s after the jets game. The word was "retool” for 2004 , I’m sure it was in the heat of the loss just like the 49ers fans are are doing.

Think the Eagles make a move for a RB. Maybe sign someone like Fournette or a trade for someone else. They need to manage Swift but also take some carries away from Hurts as he manages his injury. Gainwell is okay but they are shooting for Mars, not the moon.

Why did they sign Penny to not even dress him?

They couldn’t guarantee it, but the Carter street racing story broke two weeks before Hargrave signed with SF. They were never going to give Hargrave that deal he got, but I think the whole timing of that put it into their minds that Carter was a possibility if teams ended up passing on him. Can’t guarantee output either, but Carter was the consensus best player in the draft by a lot of experts.

Puzzling. He could be that guy but he seemingly fell out of favor over the summer. Would be a cut candidate if we bring in someone else.

Bigger picture...

Hargrave, White, Edwards, etc. all needed to go with Hurts' extension in the works.

Only exception was the money they set aside for CJGJ, that went towards Bradberry.

They didn't expect Swift to become available later on.

They'll need him at some point, I'm sure.

I honestly thought he had a good shot to lead us in rushing this year.

They seem to like Gainwell a lot more than we do. They trust him over everyone. Don’t see him being replaced

It's less dire with the trade for Byard, but Cunningham will eventually cost this team if they don't replace him.

Gainwell is used as a short yardage back and it’s infuriating with a much bigger Penny in street clothes

Cunningham is not good in coverage but I don’t think there are really great options out there who are.
