Coverage schemes can be complicated, so I understand that some fans aren't going to be as familiar with the differences between them all or the nuances each DC can add to their scheme. Also, the broadcast angle doesn't always show enough to conclude which coverages were called on a given play, so I can't fault anyone too much for hot takes or snap judgements in the heat of the moment. But when it becomes a recurring theme from the same posters week to week, and usually with the same players, it can get ridiculous and bordering on petty. It comes across as laziness, ultimately, because the information is freely available and yet they can't shake their preconceived notions and instead willfully choose to fall into that confirmation bias trap every single week.

No way Wash is ready to part with either of those guys.  They still think they will make the playoffs at this point.

We know Howie well.  The first  3 picks will most likely be for 2 defensive ends and a Lane Johnson understudy at RT. He will continue to take stabs at UDFA's for the secondary, as best UDFA prospects know we are old there and will flock over here. Been pretty decent at that lately with Blankenship and Ricks. That Saints pick could be another gem if they keep losing. May trade lower and add future picks,  depending on the board. Howie just doesn't draft cornerbacks high. Doubt he starts now.

I’d say 1 DE high and one late, but yup — that’s about how I see it going. OT and DE before the third round.

DE is a big need too.  I just would put OT and CB ahead of it for now.  My guess is they will re-sign Sweat and hope Smith develops.  They also have Carter and Davis inside to be disruptive.
