This has been the Eagles against the Washingteam for almost two generations now.   Not sure why this is news for so many folks.   This is how these games go, all the time.   When the game ends up not being a one possession game, that is the outlier.  

 

Said it before the game. Sydney Brown is a safety, not a nickle CB. This was very obvious to anyone who watched him in Illinois. He's more of a linebacker than a CB.

I am expecting Wash to have a very creative short/quick passing game and a bunch of moving the pocket plays, as well as lots of jet sweep motions and a reverse or two with at least one or two gadget plays like a backward pass to a RB or TE who then tries to throw downfield. This on top of they will *try* to run the ball and stay consistent with the run even if it isn't having success.

I just looked at the Dallas game and now it's 26-3 with 12 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter.

So we have a pro bowl safety and our secondary still blows.  Cool

They just made a throw harder than anything Howell has had to deal with all day so far

This team needs a number 1 seed with home field advantage to have any shot at all this year. Losing today jeopardizes that a little bit. Got to stop playing to level of competition and have that killer instinct.

Yup, DeSai played a season high in cover 2 snaps and blitzed more than any other game as well then comes out this game and plays single high and soft shell🤷‍♂️
