Even if they get the td, gonna have to get a stop. going back to the 4th quarter of the first matchup the commanders have scored on 5 of their last 9 possessions. Frankly fortunate for a turnover on downs and not just kicking the FG  (with how their kicker looked) otherwise it could be worse.  

Desai makes adjustments at the half and they shut them down. 
 

Johnson starts giving it to Swift. Smith goes off.

I can understand wanting to protect Swift's health. But it goes beyond logic when Penny is sitting there inactive every week.

The Eagles are stubborn. They still give Barnett a bunch of snaps(despite badly wanting to trade him) they kept Siposs for the longest time. They do share that quality with Rob Thomson.

I'm okay with Gainwell spelling him but their implementation of Swift has been essentially non-existent this game. Running him in the RZ hasn't worked outside his TD run all season and yet they insist on doing it constantly.

They came in feeling themselves and now Washington have belief. With this defense today I just can’t see us coming back as we will give up too much.

Its a gift that the Eagles are only down 7 with the ball at the half.

If they play like this against SF, Dallas, KC, Buffalo, etc... they would be down by 17.

Washington is just one of those teams that seem to have the Eagles number kind of like the Arizona Cardinals of all those years ago
