Would really like more of a power running game on offense. A power running game that doesn’t feature Hurts as the power back.

You don’t enjoy the designed plays where Hurts sits down behind the tackle?

We're all rooting for the Giants tonight, right?

Interesting question. I think most people would be because they consider the Cowboys to be the biggest threat. I don’t look at it that way.

I'm rooting for an aggressive stomach bug to hit the whole stadium.

Meteor not an option?

The DL was exceptional.  The LBs and safeties are a mess.  Slay will get love for his pick 6, but against a bad group of weapons in bad weather, he and Bradberry weren’t close to sticky in coverage.

The DL was the only reason for tough sledding for the Patriots.  But they reliably wrecked plays.

Bad weather favors the offense as far as routes/coverage is concerned.

I am. I can't pull for Dallas. It makes me feel dirty.

Let me rephrase my last post. I don’t consider the Giants a threat to the Eagles this season, but I do think they will finish ahead of the Cowboys in the division

I think the Cowboys probably match up better with us for an individual game… I just think the Giants will be the better overall team for the season

Sirianni feared the rain too much.

I realize the LBs and safeties suck, but let’s not forget the formula for winning in this nfl.

When you are helpless in the SB against a GOAT level qb…do marginally better LBs stop the avalanche of aerial TDs?  Nope.  But do waves of pass rushers getting after the QB give you a better chance to come out on top in a shootout?

Yep.

Depends on the turf...

Eagles win last season in the SB with a Jalen Carter.

I can dig that.

At safety have to hope Sidney Brown grows into starting role.  No real answers at LB especially if Dean is out a while

Yup. Eagles had a collection of very good to great defenders, but no one that was a game-breaking elite Defender like Bosa, Miller, Parson etc.

They have that now in Carter.

Damnit!

Lol NYG.
