I don’t think Payton believes the Broncos will be garbage in 2 years - so Surtain stays put.

They won’t do it and it’s a pipe dream but if they did trade for surtain i get why they’d do it. Bradberry and slay aren’t young anymore. They are both likely gone after 2024 (if they got surtain wouldn’t be shocked if they dealt one in the offseason). Long-term the Eagles don’t have a definitive solution to when both are gone. We have some young guys that we like but they’re not given. If they made that trade I’m guessing their logic behind it is surtain was an all pro last year at 23 years old. Meaning he’s here for the next decade playing at that type of level so they don’t have to go find 2 corners to replace bradberry and slay. Only 1 and maybe one of those guys in house can be that guy. 

I worry about Bradberry and Slay holding up next Sunday…I’m really scared thinking about them in 2024.

YT  TV wasn't as bad today as it was yesterday afternoon. Yesterday was awful trying to watch college games. I was pretty sure it was YT TV because other non-Google apps/stations were fine. The second half of today's game wasn't bad at all for me.

I loved Witherspoon a lot. I said before the combine he was my favorite corner in that draft. Kid plays the position the way you’d want. But Gonzalez was no slouch. Most years he’d have been the first taken. I’m surprised he fell as well. I thought for sure he’d go top 12

I said this in the game thread, but I think it's time to see if Suh is feeling up for another run after the bye week. With Carter and Davis being ding up and out for long periods of time, the line lacks some serious juice in the middle.

On another note,  tho Hurts being injured isn't Ideal and we'll need the dynamic of his legs if we want to go anywhere. We saw today how well he plays from the pocket when he's not constantly rolling out to the right, outta a clean pocket sometimes.

Rondale Moore would be an interesting potential add if by chance he were available. Would like to see him in a competent offense

I’d be more concerned about the rest of this year but the eagles corners against the commanders never play well. I can’t remember the last time they had a really good game against mclaurin. I think once byard and roby get up to speed and playing they won’t look as bad. I think 2024 you are gonna see bigger issues. Why I’m not entirely against them doing a surtain trade. But i know it’s not happening.
