Wentz must have pissed off a lot of people behind closed doors; he is way too talented to be unemployed with the level of QB play and the depth charts around the NFL.

I was always his biggest critic here.  But the guy has Josh Allen level talent.  That doesn't just go away instantly.

Part of me wonders if the Vikings call the cardinals about Kyler murray as cousins is gone next year anyway and maybe they go in on murray.

That’d be great … if only Murray was any good.  I don’t think they want to hitch their wagon to that guy/contract

Brown was part of the problem IMO. I won’t kill him too much because he was out of position.

When doing safety things he was flashing. When singled up, he was abused. No one ever thought we should put him in the slot. Not sure where that idea came from. Anyone who is any bit down on him for today is being unrealistic in their expectations, and unfair in their evaluation.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that last part. Same organization that gave up a 1st for Bradford and gave cousins his current contract and wouldn’t trade him when they weren’t going anywhere with him.

I think this would be a great rule change. If you are in the pocket and the ball is uncatchable then its grounding. period. stop. nothing else matters.

Get outside the tackle box and whatever.

The spirit of this rule gets violated like crazy with Brady throwing 80+ career passes at the back of RB shoes. Everyone does it now.

It feels like Purdy is going to do this 40 times a year.

I really  hate thats its not a sack for Reddick who was pulling Howell down when he threw the intentional grounding. I HATE that rule.

Why is everyone so enamored with Herbert? He hasn't accomplished a dam thing.

YT tv was buffering/lagging throughout the game for me - very frustrating.

I haven't quite figured out Blankenship yet and I don't watch any all-22 to really be scientific about it.

From first pass watching, it feels like he closes well on anything underneath, reacts very well, tackles well....it seems that he struggles any time he turns and runs in coverage.  Anything in front of him, pass or run...he's great.  Once he's got to break and cover, he's as good as done on the play.

I don't know if the deeper coverage comes in time or if it's a fixed limitation.  But it's a really bad fit with a gaping hole at nickel CB, a revolving door at the other safety position, and veteran outside starters that are constantly leaking separation.  With a stronger secondary, a weak link Blankenship can probably be unleashed to his strengths while everyone else tightens up in coverage.

I think we learned Josiah Scott will be cut when his 3 weeks are up.  I don't think he played much at all

I don’t think people understand the amount of tanking that we’re about to see happen for Caleb Williams and maybe even Drake Maye as well. It’s going to be NBA level type tanking. I think Kyler is 100% getting dealt before the trade deadline. They just announced that Dobbs is starting again next week so he’s their horse they’re going to ride for the Caleb sweepstakes.

The Vikings may be content on tanking for Maye now as well.

The Eagles NEED Gainwell.  This offense isn't going to work right if Swift goes down.

They need Gainwell to keep Swift healthy and they need Gainwell as a RB if Swift doesn't stay healthy.

He may be getting snaps that he doesn't "deserve," but they need him.

no. they need someone else. Right now, theyd be better off with Scott.

Look at those Jalen Hurts numbers that include the Jets game. Pretty, pretty good.

Injuries and making bad choices. Too many games of bad decisions. Though I am surprised he's not able to be a 3rd stringer

And I was a big Wentz supporter

What’s going on with Roby?  Is he still hurt?

Once they are in the playoffs, itll be a much heavier dose of Swift.  22% of the remaining regular season games are against the Giants anyway, so you'll get your wish when that's all Scott.

Which is weird. He was great last week and today the secondary struggled all game long. Why not give him a chance to build off of his success?

And he didn’t get going until the hand cast/brace came off either.

You forgot one. A glorious 27-28 career record.

Not even a .500 record.

I think it's pretty easy to see why he was hyped up after his rookie season.
