Dak had his visor taken out during that Giants timeout on 3rd and 2.

  • Personal Note: Today was a tough day. My wife’s father passed away after a long battle with cancer at 3am this morning. He has 2 son-in-laws, and our teams are the Eagles and Bucs. So…it was kind

Concerned about the Eagles linebackers after that game. The middle of the defense was soft AF.

Blankenship has 12 tackles and 2 PDs. Nice.

Would really like more of a power running game on offense. A power running game that doesn’t feature Hurts as the power back.

Penny could have helped there today. But why dress the bigger RB that would probably create some explosive plays in terrible weather?  Let’s start JAGwell instead.

Yeah, same old NYG.

Why are the NYG airing it out in this weather? Run it down DAL throat. Their run D sucks.

Lol

Giants are still the Giants.

Thank God Siri was smart enough to go run heavy when it was raining.

Daboll is on one.

The Giants are trash

If Dean will be out for any length of time Howie has to male a move.

Giants picking up where they left off in the playoffs

Yeah... I don't think we see anything different.   They are 2-0 in openers the last two years not playing the starters.  But... it helps that they are matched up against mediocre teams to start the season too.   Detroit 9-8 last year, I figure that's about the ceiling for the Pats this year too.

Meanwhile, a lot of cockroach fans in NY tonight.

And 3-0 on the road in home openers the last 3 years.  Not much will change

If he can be for the Eagles what Bryson Stott has been for the Phillies in year 2... we'll have 1 safety.  And if Sydney Brown can grow into the other spot, that will be great for this team.

Dean looked good before he got hurt at least.

We all knew today was going going to be sloppy. Did anyone expect the Eagles to come out firing on all cylinders?

This is what drives me crazy about not playing the starters all preseason. It's the fact that they have two new coordinators and 4 new starters down the middle of the defense. You've GOT to get a feel for how communications and interactions are going to go during live gameplay.

At the very least, having the starters play in the preseason would give both the coordinators and the players the opportunity to get a feel for how things go. You really can't replicate the communication between the coaches and players during live game play in joint practice.

How does Brian Johnson call plays in through the headset when the clock is winding and the fans are cheering? Are he and Hurts on the same page in pressure situations?

Same goes for the defense. You have a brand new MLB with the green dot who's played all of what, 20 live snaps? How is he going to communicate with the defense when the crowd is up and the offense is in a hurry up?

You can't, I repeat you can't replicate live gameplay during joint practice.

They won, but the only thing encouraging about this game was Jake Elliott.

We were up 16-0 early too…and almost blew it down the stretch

The Cowboys will do what we didn’t

Man that Cowboys defense looks good. They are always around the ball and don't seem to have the heads up their asses. Maybe we should've poached one of Quinn's assistants and change up this scheme.

I mean, it’s not rocket science. When I take off for No Nut November, it takes me a few days to get back into the swing of things. I imagine it’s the same for players who don’t play in the preseason. 🤷‍♂️

He looked OK, but wouldn't call it good. His play was nothing special.
