I really liked Gainwell coming out of college I thought he'd be a good fit so when eagles got him i was excited.

After last year's playoffs I had high hopes for him going forward and after Howie hit swift I thought way that'll be a good one 2 punch but Gainwell has been nothing short of awful.

He's averaged 1.7 yards over the last 3 has a TD and a goal line fumble...

As a receiver other than the one play he had against the skins for a good gain he hasn't been impressive there.

As you said I'd much rather see Scott get snaps but as you said I've also wondered if his height limits hurts ability to see him out in routes, he's just so small but once he gets the ball I think he's a better runner than Gainwell.

We'll see maybe Scott gets a couple more carries 🤷‍♂️

I'm not sure what Adams contract looks like but if it wasn't reworked today then it seems unlikely to be moved unless it was already low for this year

Sure, but he was also averaging 5ypc before tonight. It'll probably be 5.5 or more after this game. Sure looks like he has the skill set to be a good back in this league.

In fairness most people were upset that he wasn’t getting more touches over Montgomery since they had drafted him so high.

Never thought of him as a bust. Just terrible value at that point in the draft.
