Fournette would have been a good FA signing.  Oh well.  Just a pounder.

If Howie can swing Hunter tomorrow, I think that is a game changer for our D.

The only other position that is glaring is slot corner.  Honestly Roby might just be the most important cog right now in the D.

Maybe Scott can step up again.  Ceedee Lamb is pretty much just a slot WR.  Not scared of Cooks et al.

I've long been on record as hating him as a coach.  Did not want the Eagles to hire him. Would have been devastated

After what he did to the Colts during our Super Bowl run (which ultimately cost us our offensive coordinator), I was surprised that another team would ever consider that turd. Hearing his name linked to the Eagles made me ill.

Not seeing many logical destinations for Adams. The Browns maybe? A delusional NFC South team?

The Turds maybe. Would hate to see it.

The Niners are probably going to be in strong on him.

I’m pretty sure the eagles had interest in drafting him the year he came out

Doesn’t play slot. Would be tough fit. Kenny Moore seems more logical. I still think Howie goes for LB or his favorite DE

Blankenship and Dean are the only starters on this team that I don’t yet have an opinion on. Not sure if they are going to sink or swim.  Heck, I’m not even sure if they are or aren’t playing well right now.

For Blankenship, I’m getting the sense that he’s outstanding anticipating, reacting, and disrupting plays in front of him…pass and run.  But I fear he might be really bad at turning and mirroring in coverage.

Dean…he’s an instinct player.  LB is an instinct position.  One school of thought is that less physically imposing, less raw, more polished players should look better sooner.  Another is that a player like Dean who is pretty cerebral with the position and relies on read/react is really going to be out of sorts until all of those nuances catch up again.  The guy was considered the best LB in college football.  I think he deserves more time and it seems like the Eagles are still happy to give it to him.

Harden to the clippers.

Really wanna see more games like the Miami game from the defense and less like the Commanders games.  The defense is my main concern as far as the Eagles chances of going all the way this year.  Run D is solid, but they keep letting mediocre QBs look great, that's really worrisome.  Their defense is the main reason they didn't win the SB last year, so yeah.

Bye Felicia. Wonder what the return was. Likely pennies on the dollar.

Then Woj fell asleep with the details

He misses his buddy Carr...😭

Trade him for Taysom.

Adams might just quit like Antonio Brown. Only one to run to locker room and he was livid on the sideline. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s traded tomorrow.

to Carr for Taysom.

How about a trade for AJ Dillon?

Welcome Home... Big Shot Bob!

RoCo was one of my favorite Sixers. Loved him during The Process years. Just glad that Harden is gone. What a bum.

Ah man didnt want to give up petrusev but oh well. Got picks and junk to match salary. Yay. I guuss…

Pretty much a reset yr anyway

And good riddance to bad trash.   Harden is a guy they never should have added and we are now finally rid of that cancer.   Did Morey cost us a legit shot at a championship by bringing in his old (former) pal?   Hard to say, but I think that Haliburton makes this team better than Harden did... and maybe its enough to at least get out of the second round.   As it is now... 2nd round exit might be their ceiling, but who knows... teams have been known to play above their head with really good coaching.  Nurse offers them that chance.  I am not more optimistic about the Sixers than I have been in about 4 years... basically since they decided to move on from Butler and stay with Simmons.

I never understood the insistence in adding him. We all knew he was going to do it, and we all knew it wasn't going to work out. Just an absolute mess.

The silver lining in all of this is Tyrese Maxey is still here and he's better than ever.

The interesting piece to me in this is Kenyon Martin, Jr.  He comes from NBA blood lines and is still very young at 22, but with 3 seasons under his belt in the NBA.  He's got all the athletic talent you could want in a wing player.   He's not done developing yet, if he's willing to put in the work.

I'm not mad at Ricks playing more. I think he can start for this team down the road. However, Josiah Scott played really well last week. How does he not get a single snap? How does he not get a single snap when the secondary is getting lit up?

Maybe a guy named Sirianni's wife cheated with a guy named Scott because neither Boston or Josiah are getting any love. Kenny Gainwell gets carry after carry while getting less than 2 yards a pop and a fumble. Josiah Scott makes a few terrific plays and gets the bench.  Who the hell knows.

Because of Daryl Morey.  It wasn't a basketball decision, it was a personal decision.   Same with bringing in PJ Tucker to be Harden's pal.   Nice to actually move on from both of them.  (I don't dislike Tucker, but I want to distance this organization as much as possible from the Harden stink... just like I wanted to distance it from the Simmons stink.)

The Sixers will use those to pieces to upgrade the team this season. Morley just didn’t have that player available to him yet. Maybe it ends up being Lavine if the Bulls rightfully decide to blow it up.
