New England is going to have a top 5 defense this year so I’m not in panic mode with the offense yet. Hurts had a couple of misses with Goedert. But his absence all game didn’t make sense.

It was the same with DeVonta week 1 last year. Goedert will get a ton of looks Thursday

Collinsworth just compared Waller to LeBron.

He's got CTE.

The only thing worse than terrible RBs is having a great RB.  You build you offense around a player that either holds out or locks up the worst cap money you’ll ever spend.

You want a rotation of inexpensive good RBs, which is exactly what we have.  The coaches went run heavy, abandoned the rotation, and treated Gainwell like a premium feature back.

The personnel philosophy and on-field utilization were a mismatch today.

Roschon Johnson looked good today. We could've landed Tank Bigsby with one of those back to back picks too.

That was the first play I’ve seen Daniel make today that wasn’t backup material.

Their height?

Just as good as pretending what the Eagles did today is anywhere near the same level as what Dallas or SF did. The Eagles played like crap. Hurts was rookie year level Hurts. The play calling was atrocious. The defense let Mac Jones carve them up.

The Eagles played like crap and Hurts was terrible.  If there were Olympic figure skating judges making isolated week 1 power rankings, Dallas and SF would easily crush us.  Detroit too.

But we expected a slightly less putrid version of this game from the get-go.  I’ll take the win and worry about specifics when they become a trend in week 2.  But I will start to worry after week 2.

Right, that's why in the original post I said based off of today and only today. What's great, is the Eagles still won despite one of the worst offensive games they've played in years. They are 1-0. The Vikings offense puts the Patriots to shame. Dean isn't playing, he's having an MRI tomorrow. Bradberry might be out too if they are taking him through concussion protocol. How the Eagles respond on Thursday is going to show us a lot.

Dimes looks like pennies today

The giants OL is rubbish

🤣

And they miss the FG...

Are we sure the Vikings offense is that much better than the Patriots? Outside of Justin Jefferson they don't have much.

Their stat lines outside of Jefferson were pedestrian.

Just finished my internship application for the Eagles. Woo Hoo!

Plus the Eagles will never fear Kirk Cousins... never.

DAL O isn't exactly playing well.

The Giants just suck on a quantum level.

I wonder how much the weather had to do with it?

We benched Penny, which made no sense to me since you’d think a rain game would be perfect for his vision/cut/power/speed progression style.

But once we did that, Swift isn’t the guy you run in the rain and neither is Scott. That leaves Gainwell by default.

I think in dry weather Swift gets a lot more looks. My question is with Penny. He’s the best pure runner we have and you bench him for Scott?

The Penny scratch made no sense given the weather. I'd argue he's a better kick returner than Scott as well.

That’s awesome man. Good luck to you!

Mind if I ask what you are trying to do? Trainer, FO, etc?
