He should literally only play zone. I agree he’s a bit overrated. I think he could be replaced and we opt out of his option. 

Well, 49ers won the trade deadline. Get to play young at least 3 times this year possibly 4

No trade coming before the deadline.  Probably smart too.  Eagles need to load up on rookie contracts with the big contracts they have to give down the pipeline.

Washington had issues with Chase Young beyond just the injuries.  There were reports he wasn't a hard worker and had poor practice habits.

I think there was a reason the Eagles tried James Bradberry in the slot besides just playing jobe on the outside. I kind of think in their minds they believe that they might be able move Bradberry inside next year and open up the outside spot for an upgrade. If you look at bradberry’s contract he’s here next year unless they post June - cut him which they don’t get any cap savings. Ditto with slay. I’m not saying it’s gonna work, but I can see them thinking that with an entire off-season with Bradberry moving to the inside and had a chance to go for a test run with the injuries this year.

I wouldn't trade premium assets for a nickel corner. I certainly wouldn't trade premium assets for a guy you "think might be able to". That would be dumb GM'ing.

Really think this is just your typical "Eagles are in on this guy" reports that other teams use for leverage.
