Howie has NEVER made a trade on the last day of deadline.  Most of his trades have been 5 or 6 days before the deadline.  Most of his October trades haven't even been good (Quinn, Avery, Tate).  The Ajayi trade was good.  Some years he made no trades at all.  

The Byard trade.  That's the trade. A veteran starting safety.  That's a great trade!

Outside of the Dolphins they haven't played anyone yet and have still struggled against them.

Dallas desperately needed help (WR, TE, secondary) and stood pat.

I watching that game makes me believe they’re frustrated with Jameson Williams. He had the injury to come back from last year, then he had a whole gambling problem this year. And then when he’s out there he’s dropped a lot of passes for not playing a lot of games. He’s hasn’t been super productive in the games that he has played with the Lions so far in his career. 

Interested in what the prices were for some of the lesser named guys.

You're negative about almost every move or non-move this team makes. We own the best record in the league, are 2-0 in the division, and haven't even played an A- level game yet. Just TRY to let a little positivity into your life for once.

Yeah, I saw that too last night. But to think DPJ>Williams long-term seems unlikely.
