  • Personal Note: Today was a tough day. My wife’s father passed away after a long battle with cancer at 3am this morning. He has 2 son-in-laws, and our teams are the Eagles and Bucs. So…it was kind

From what I’ve been told he’s kind of an ahole of a person. Lot of people in the athletic department at Arizona (played college football at Arizona) werent thrilled with some of the things he did and said.

Not surprising. He's always come off that way.

How many of those picks would you need to use to get an expected return of 2 high quality DEs?  I'd say you'd be lucky to spend 4 top picks and hit on 2 players like Sweat & Young.  Probably not even likely to get 2 that good (Young is debatable because of injury issues)

this is why I didn’t understand them trading both of them. I get trading sweat if the Bears are going to be dumb and give you potentially a top three pick in the 2nd round. But I’m not trading the other one for a compensatory third round pick that likely to be the second or last pick in that round. It’s essentially a glorified top pick in the 4th round. I’d rather kept one of the two and signed him long-term so I don’t have to go and try to find 2 defensive ends going forward. My preference would’ve been sweat if they didn’t love young’s long term health and practice habits

It’s Dallas week and man am I pumped! I really hope the defense brings some real energy and anger!

With no more Dan Snyder, look at this. If Sam Howell is the real deal for them, you wonder if they make a splash trade to get him a WR1 a la Marvin Harrison Jr...sorry, Masssaraaatttiii Marv.

If I'm them you start at the o-line. Get pro-bowl type bookends and go from there.

IF...big IF, as you alluded to, they did hit on two of those picks though, they come at a much lower price tag...at least for 4-5 years...money to use elsewhere on proven FA talent.

Don't forget he also was involved with and helped cover up the Plaxico Burress shooting himself situation

Nike execs. We need something new and trendsetting for this year but something easy enough to forget existed next year. What if we put EVERY team in black.

Happy for Raiders fans. They’ve had many terrible coach + GM combos but this one was taking them nowhere.

Their next GM + coach have to hit.

Watch Mark Davis hire Kliff Kingsbury as the Raiders next HC.

Mark Davis is running a money laundering operation. No other explanation.

Also took me awhile to realize the picture is not Derrek Carr

Poor poor Adams. Gone from rodgers to carr to Jimmy g to Aidan O’Connell. Like a Jim irsay bender over time

They went scorched earth

Poor Adams for sure, but long term I like O'Connell's chances to surprise some people.

Maybe O'Connell will realize he has a top 5 WR and just target him 30 times a game.

Is Nolan Smith vs Joey Porter Jr. the 2023 version of BG vs Earl Thomas?

If he also ends up stripping Mahomes in the Superbowl and it allows us to win....worth it.

He's a weird dude for sure

Jalen Hurts was fantastic on Sunday. Reminds me of when Donovan started to mature from a running QB to a QB who uses his legs when he needs to. For Jalen to be the most successful he can be, I think they need to cool it with the called QB run plays and let him be a pocket passer. He's been tremendous from the pocket.

I think the bone bruise has been a blessing in disguise for him. Johnson seems to be calling less of the QB draws and Jalen is staying in the pocket more making quicker reads. The strike he threw to Julio in the red zone was a great ball. Quick, decisive, and threaded it up high between two defenders where only Julio can go up and get it. Same thing with the one-handed TD to AJ. Just throw it up to these guys and let them do their thing. There is no 50/50 ball with AJ. It's more 70/30 in his favor.
