If they put him on IR he'd have to miss the Chiefs game. Original estimate was 2 or so games. With the bye week in between Dallas and Chiefs it puts them in a more difficult decision whether to IR him or not.

If you want to run the ball, going from Opeta to Steen makes sense.

I would probably wait until after the bye to make this change, but given the overall ineffectiveness of the run game the past three weeks and the below, who knows.

He looked better than Opeta coming off the bench. I don't see a problem considered the right side of the line has been struggling immensely since Opeta has been playing.

Steen only played 6 snaps, so I don't think the sample size is there just yet. But if the coaching staff and Stoutland trust him out there, that's all that really matters.

I watched him closely in the series of plays that he was in.  In none of the plays did his man get even close to Hurts or to the ball carrier.  I'm not very good in the fine details of O-Line blocking, so I will leave it to you give us a higher quality assessment of his snaps.

Not so sure. The Eagles threw on every play Steen was in at RG. He held up but he got help from Kelce and/or Lane. There was never a ball carrier on his plays. They were all throws. On at least two of the plays he got walked back into the pocket. It looked to me like he was too upright.

Regarding the pressures:

Hurts time to throw has been well above 3, some defenses have decided that blitzing is the way to attack this protection/QB/OC, this sample size includes Lane going down and Opeta throughout.

All fair. He's definitely not a finished product. You can see it. Not sure the Brandon Brooks comparisons are fair as Steen is not as thick (and Brooks was so, so strong). 

The good news is that he looks better than he did in the pre-season. Stoutland university!

Depends if the check to PFF cleared or not

Not going to beat the drum too hard but it's amusing people saying Tyreek should be MVP with no mention of AJ. I'd argue AJ is MVP. I'm struggling to find 3 wins this season without him right now especially with Hurts being banged up.
