I wonder if the lack of stats from BG is an impact of Carter and Davis on the DL? There has been a lot of pressure up gut, with someone like Reddick/Sweat doing a good job from the outside.  BG, so far, hasn't been needed to shine, but when injuries occur, he could well show on the stat sheet.  Ergo, I'm not worried right now about a lack of stats.

Shadys video where he breaks down his own film is hilarious, AJ needs to do the same thing after the season

I have full confidence the Eagles will show up for this. They definitely slept walk to start the Washington game.

It would be very embarrassing if Dallas were on the field alone.

He only plays like 16 snaps a game, hes had a reduced role and a different role this year

Take for instance Nolan's first sack, who was the DL occupying a blocker so Nolan could go untouched for the sack? BG.

And who was the first guy to go over and celebrate with Nolan? BG.

He's been solid this year in doing the dirty work In limited snaps and yeah this is probably his last year, I'd imagine.

BG is here for the vibes at this point

Definitely impacted the washington game last year, but not in the way you are thinking about.

Yes he had a fumble, if a player was benched Everytime he fumbled once eagles wouldn't have any players. ..

Nah, I just think have to be honest with ourselves about what BG is as a player right now. Every player is bound to hit that wall in their career. The fact of the matter is he's playing 30% of the snaps and not producing.

He's had 4 games without a single stat registered. The other 4 games, 3 tackles, 1/2 sack.

His best game this year was against the Jets, where he had 2 tackles and 1/2 sack. He had a pass deflection and QB hit against Washington (1st game), 2 tackles against TB and 1 tackle and a QB hit against NE.

It was bound to happen.

Looked pretty good, first snap was a double team, next couple he passed off some stunts and picked em up, I wish one of his snaps was a running play, wanted to see him mash...💪

I find it strange when Sirianni looks over the PR guy for questions like that. Can't recall any other coach ever doing that in a PC.

That's fair. Perhaps the change in system has highlighted his deficiencies moreso than last year.

He looks like he's more sure of himself in pass protection than Opeta.

Im tired of the Jokic/Embiid discussion. Embiid finally won MVP and what does Jokic do? In that same year he just goes and gets a finals MVP award instead. Hes consistently stayed a step ahead of Embiid, as Embiid has been focused on the wrong accolade while Jokic has been out for the good of the team. He won his MVPs because he had more assists. And he won the finals because he had a team, and he was the key cog that made it work.

Aside from focusing on the MVP race, and Joker- Embiid has been averaging 7 assists so far this year. Its only 4 games, but that may be a byproduct of Nurse's system and if he keeps it up he might get himself another individual award.

Let's see how Embiid fares under Nurse, he's far superior on defense than Jokic, if he rounds out his offensive game to be more of a distributor than the two man game with Harden, he's the better player.

Opeta is powerful but stiff, he's exactly the player you'd expect off his workout numbers, good straight ahead run blocker but struggles with pass rushing DTs in pass protection.

Steen is just a better athlete, but he shows why I tend to downgrade rookies their first year, you draft for 2-3 years down the road, rarely does someone just step in like Carter.

But by the bye week, you have almost a full college season of practice under your belt, which is why (along with injuries) many draft picks start getting PT the second half of their rookie season.

He will absolutely deserve MVP if thats the case. I just dont want to hear about it anymore. Tired of that being the focus, and the Joker comparisons.

Id rather the whole narrative just be framed as Embiids improvement under nurse. Not anything about MVP and Joker.

Opeta has been pretty rough in the run game, like you said he's a bit stiff,  he's not bad as a backup in a pinch as he's not horrible he's just not blah...

Steen has more upside, and  seems to have a bit more pop.

We'll see, it'll be good for him to get reps now for when Jurgens goes to center next year.

His next goal should be Finals MVP...

why?

3rd snap he stumbled back because he tripped over Kelces leg. 4th snap he passes someone off. Picks up his next assignment. Gets punched but immediately anchors in.

I think he did great coming off the bench cold - Payne is a handful and the defense ran a bunch of games on that drive which he seemed to process well.

yep. Those were 6 excellent snaps.

How is Dallas' OL and DL these days?

Obviously we always hear about Parsons and Lawrence off the edge, but really nothing about the interior guys.

And their OL used to get gassed up in the media, but really don't hear much about them anymore.

Their O line is still good, just not great IMO. I'd put them in the 5 to 10 range.

The narrative needs to be getting past the 2nd round of the playoffs and maybe even winning a championship.  Nothing else matters.  Individual awards are nice, but generally they are better when they accompany a championship.

2001 Sixers had:  MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, 6th Man of the Year.     But lost in the Finals.   I think to a man, they'd all trade those accolades for the RING.

They have Osa Odiggy (kid from UCLA) who’s slippery but light, Hankins/Mazi were brought in to stop the Eagles running game but based on ARZ game I don’t think they have that locked down. 4th guy can’t remember.  This isn’t a good interior match up for the cowboys run or pass, although I prefer to wear them down first as Osa is a decent player.
