No.  He stepped OOB and then reached for the ball.   THAT's the correct play.  If he's standing OOB and touches the ball, it's ruled as a kickoff OOB.  

Gainwell is playing good football today.

That was a nice play, far more creative than normal

That was actually good patience by swift. Just nothing materialized and he couldn’t get past kearse

As the announcers pointed out he executed that in textbook fashion.  Block the ball from taking a weird bounce but also ensuring that it has maximum probability of going out of bounds.

Gainwell came to play today.
