You just saw why.   They play to get in position for the Brotherly Shove.  They just want to get the ball to the 1 before 4th down.

Great job on offense with Hurts, Siriani, and Johnson calling it to stabilize the game.  Well called and orchestrated drive to stem the quick sand.

Looked just fine to me in real time.   I was looking for him to get a foot OOB.  Then he did and I wasn't worried at all.  

Really need a momentum swing from the defense here. Get the offense the ball back, more points, get possession after half.

Dallas is going to score a TD on most drives.  Got to play keep away on score TDs not FGs when we get the ball.

Someone needs to join Reddick on defense today. 

Brotherly Shove is my favorite play ever.  Love that it's a signature team that everyone knows, knows when it's going to happen, other teams try it and fail but we absolutely dominate at it and they hate us for it.

It's the best.

Have to say though, the secondary is having a hard time with extended plays. Not with regular coverage. Sackers have to get home and stop letting Dak extend plays. 

A stop here and 2 straight scores would go a long way for blood pressure.

It worked due to them getting a holding call to set up another 1st down at the 5. If the hold didn’t happen it is 3rd and goal from the 5 and no brotherly shove. My issue is 1st and goal at the 10 and running it. Really that is an area where that second down play to brown makes more sense. 

This secondary is going to give up a chunk on every play.
