But, I am going on the idea that Goedert is going to be out until the playoffs.   If he comes sooner, I'll be happy.  If not at all, that's highly disappointing.   We'll see what Albert O really is soon enough, because he's the only guy on the roster that could come close to replicating Dallas' impact in the passing game.  And that's more wishcasting than it is forecasting.

The thing that irritates me with this game, you had 46 seconds left. All you have to do is not get beat deep and keep everything in front of you. First play bam 36 yard penalty. Then you get a roughing the passer on the next play. You know how hard it is in the NFL to go 85 yards in 46 seconds with no timeouts and scored a touchdown? It is really Fing hard. Yet the Eagles made it like super easy that the Cowboys were already in the red zone with 27 seconds. Last week before the end of the first half, they had the same struggle. Just 34 seconds and they allowed the commanders to maneuver into FG range. 

also the offense really got into a rhythm in the third quarter. They were cooking. As soon as the D made the stop at the goal line, it felt like Brian Johnson just went away from everything that they had working. I give Dallas credit but really I thought their play calling conservative and allowed Dallas to stick around. Be aggressive and deliver the knock out blow. Add on the fact that AJ Brown in the fourth quarter got one target the entire quarter is ridiculous. He is your best offensive playmaker get him the Fing ball when the offense seems to be struggling. He is a cheat code because he’s so hard to cover.

Didn't Washington score in like 40 seconds last week near the end of the game?

Eagles were up 38-24 with not much time left and they scored super quick to cut it to 7 then couldn't get the onside kick.

They were able to survive these last game defensive letdown but sooner or later it will bite them in the a** unless they fix it.

Refs really picked and choose what to flag. So many times Dallas was offsides. We did get away with a few things as well

Bye week will be huge. More time for Byard to get up to speed and for Bradberry/Slay to get healthy. I think Roby helps a little bit. I’d much rather have Roby than Ricks covering Lamb/Aiyuk/Kelce

 

Hopefully healthy won’t be an issue going into that rough 4 game stretch. I think all 4 games are winnable, but I imagine we’ll have 1-2 losses over that stretch. As long as we beat SF, I’m all good
