Getting a little ahead of myself....if the Eagles win the last three games with Giants twice and Cardinals as expected, then the magic number with the Cowboys is three games...

Goedert having surgery on broken forearm today.  Wonder if thata it or if he could be back for the Super Bowl if they make it.

Just getting back to Brian Johnson. He’s new to playcalling in the NFL. The red zone and situational playcalling has been an adventure, but the offense is statistically more efficient based on points per drive.

Can we have just the teeniest amount of patience? Goodness people.

They didn’t go 79 yards though. They needed in 13 seconds to go 44 yards for a field goal and KC had a timeout. Dallas had no timeouts

But then they choked it.  Eagles needed a play and got the sack.  Cowboys needed a play 1st and 10 on the 11 yard line and end up 3rd and 25.

We need to win 2 of next 4 cause Dallas schedule a joke

Seahawks, Eagles, @Bills, @Dolphins, Lions

That isn't a joke of a stretch.

It's typically a 6 week injury so yes

It’s great they made and play and Dallas choked. Not so sure you are going to be as lucky against mahomes and the chiefs of you allow for that. Idk about you if mahomes gets the ball in week 11 with 50 seconds needing to go 80 yards not feeling exactly confident as i saw Dallas go 79 in 46 and the commanders 72 in 43 seconds.

No excuse for allowing the Cowboys to nearly steal that game at the very end, but that was gutsy as hell.

The OL not being able to consistently run block is something they must fix. It helps the entire team.  While the Eagles can win through the air, the ground game is how they control opponents.

Hurts coming out with a TD drive and perfect throw to Devante Smith changed the entire complexion of the game.  I think it stunned the Cowboys after they and everyone else thought they got to Hurts right before half.

It will be nice to see Davis and Carter get healthy again. Our passrush is not even close to what it can be with the two of them healthy

There were 8 Eagles in the end zone.

And their best WR wasn't in it.  Not sure how  the Cowboys thought he was going to get through the wall of defenders.

On that fourth down stop on the incompletion to Tolbert, Cunningham got smoked by Ferguson. Easy pitch and catch. I just don’t understand Cunningham playing on obvious passing downs.

The fact that Dallas somehow went 79 yards in 19 seconds with no timeouts is frankly ridiculous. I don’t think I’ve seen often (or maybe ever) a team with under a minute, no timeouts and run 3 plays and make up 79 yards in 19 second without it being like a Stefon diggs Minneapolis miracle type of catch. Then again saw the eagles allow the commanders to go 72 yards in 4 plays in 43 seconds last week so I’ve seen things man…

They somehow almost managed to score with time to spare. They almost scored with like 20 seconds left. They didn't even need the full 50 seconds. It was almost the biggest melt down I've ever seen watching this team. I can't really think of a more futile starting unit than this secondary in the past 20 years. The early Reid receiving group was awful, linebackers in 2020 were poor. Those Billy Davis defenses under Chip were pretty bad. But this secondary unit is an absolute disaster.

The Eagles are now 13th overall in RZ percentage (56%) and are 5th in the league over the last 3 games (71%).

The run game is suffering as Hurts is no longer a threat to keep the ball.  They have two weeks to figure out how to make a conventional run game succeed when the whole stadium knows you want to run the ball.

They should have taken the free 10 yards and got out of bounds. It would have set up a much less difficult final play.

Ya but next 3 is like panthers giants wash

Good enough to get them feeling themselves again then they match up with someone above .500 for the L :)

Tbh could say the same thing with desai. Frankly he’s got names on defense but the back 7s names are bigger and better then their actual play. I thought slay played well. But bradberry looks like he did at the end of his giants tenure. Byard is not the same player he was in 2021 and 2022 (he wasn’t with the titans either. Maybe the bye and more time he reverts back but chance he’s on the decline). Blankenship has regressed from where he was early in the season. Their nickel corner is a UDFA rookie and a disaster once maddox went down. I’m not even going in on LBs. They simply can’t cover.

He has a DL and then he’s working with what feels like an eroding secondary and JAG LBs

Maybe the week off helps Hurts get healthier and become a threat again. He seemed to be a threat only when it mattered in the 1st half of the season. I'm fine with him taking less punishment.

Annoyed by the Reddick QB roughing as it was ticky tack AND the TE who caught that pass was pushed out of bounds moving backwards… does the clock run on that (important as DAL was out of timeouts, below 1 minute, etc.)?

Referee's discretion is the rule I've always heard.  If he gives forward progress... the clock keeps rolling.  If he marks where the player goes out of bounds, he stops the clock.   Seems like it should be more specific and less discretionary.

He's got two weeks to figure it out... tick, tock.  No seriously, the self-scouting process might uncover some basic fixes.

Way to premature to judge Byard. He just got here from a totally abysmal trash team.

Feel like it's 6 weeks if you're TO but 12 weeks if you're a normal human.
