Seems like something that can be worked on over the bye, and they used it sparingly already yes?

Yeah I'd be interested to see how many times this year they've run out of pistol?

If I had to guess I'd says it's like once a game  if that.

Not sure why they didn't use it more when it seems to work when they do 🤷‍♂️

Probably won't ever be considered the top of his position

Means Howie can undercut him at the next negotiation

Montez Sweat contract… Josh Sweat is winning.

Here are the three plays I mentioned earlier:

First, the trap, where he whiffs on the safety. Steen is #56 (yellow arrow). The safety is #33 (blue circle).Trap-1.thumb.png.18fb3a0b9925d49b70ab6fb1afbd1912.png

Steen pulls. It looks like he bumps Kelce's leg.

Trap-2.thumb.png.a13bca209d2ae046f498ec43090e59c5.png

And it looks like he's got his target

Trap-3.thumb.png.ab816a39120365b2524f0ce5fa20de46.png

But no, he whiffs and the safety makes the tackle.

Swift has always had inconsistent vision, but I think the issue is OL, not Swift. I think when he has bounced runs, he’s almost always right to do so. It’s not like he’s turning 2 yard gains into 1 yard losses. He’s turning 1 yard gains into 2.

Which is what frustrates me. Why limit him to 3 carries if he's playing well?

Watching around the nfl it feels like it’s not just an eagles thing. Falcons do crazy stuff with bijan. Yesterday i feel like I’m the early game I saw it a lot.

It feels like the whole team was beat up.  Guys play through injuries and you're never sure how it's effecting their play quality. Will be interesting to see how they look after bye

It's the scheme... this is what they choose to do

I think it's both, but yes, the scheme has looked highly questionable the past couple weeks. All that good will Desai built up against the fins has been squandered.

Did Dean hurt the same foot yesterday?

Couple of weeks... i would say couple of years lol. They just give up yards

Where can I get that hat?

The Philadelphia Eagles have had the best record in the league for 421 consecutive days

agreed.

Fanboy homer post, but just watched highlights from that game again.   My heart was pounding at the end of that game.  That was a hard fought win.  Like Jason Kelce (and Rocky) said, "It's not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward... that's how winning is done."

The TD bomb from Hurts to Smith was amazing.  Definitely the play of the game.

Efforts of the D-line were underrated.  The failed 2 point conversion was mostly Dak trying to run for his life after being flushed from the pocket.  He went out of bounds and "it's a game of inches", and all that, but lost in that commentary is the fact that he was trying to hit that corner because our D-line did it's job.

I also love Siri, he's not stoic, he's emotional, celebrating a big win over a huge rival with the rest of us.

LOL, Cowboy fan meltdowns really are the most fun part of this rivalry.

Ok, so let's suppose they go 5-3 and 2-3 in the next five.  The Cowboys would then need to go 8-1 and win a tie breaker based on all 3 Eagles losses being in the NFC.  Eagles are in a very good spot though they need at least 2 over the next 5.

Yep and those two need to be SF and Seattle (at a minimum).....I'd like Buffalo too losing to KC and Dallas.  That puts them at 11-3 with 2 games vs. the Giants and 1 vs. the Cardinals.  So 14-3 is well within their grasp.

I'm going to wait on the all-22 before going into Steen's performance any further. My recollection is that he had some very good plays to go with the not-so-good ones and I want to be fair.

Seriously. I'd buy it right now.

Dave Zangaro had a great line in his podcast.

"It feels like the day after the Super Bowl, we're going to be saying, 'Well, sure, they won, but when is this team going to play a complete game.'"

John Clark: "The Hope is that Dallas Goedert will miss  around just 4 games after fracturing his forearm in last nights win over the Cowboys. It is not expected to be a season ending injury "
