Beat two top teams so far. So far so good? 🙂

Yes, which is what I said, but we are looking at the upcoming games and worried about playing with fire.  Play with fire often enough and you are going to get burned... which is the point and the concern going into this stretch.

Dave Zangaro had a great line in his podcast.

"It feels like the day after the Super Bowl, we're going to be saying, 'Well, sure, they won, but when is this team going to play a complete game.'"

My father is still pissed about SB52 because on the last drive, we allowed the Patriots to convert a fourth and ten, Gronk got out of bounds twice, Darby dropped an interception, and we let Brady fling one to the endzone. Never mind that we actually won the Super Bowl!

Chargers and Jets? Is it just me or have alot of the SNF and MNF been completely unwatchable? This is not a game that has any juice at all. bleh

In all they have to go 6-2 over the rest of the season. Which is pretty tough. They should be able to do it. But its not quite as easy as the tweet makes it sound they way they have it broken down.

They don’t have to go 6–2 in order to win the NFC East. They would only have to do that if Dallas went 9–0.  That’s not going to happen.

Jurgens out.   Hurts dinged.   And there's more film on it now.

Yea but for what we have plus Stoutland, you’d think they should still be able to run somewhat. Dallas isn’t good against the run. They and the Commaders are bottom half of the league. But we can only manage 3.3 and 2.7 YPC as a team against them?

I wasn't happy at all during that drive but it was all forgotten when the ball hit the turf in the end zone on that last hail mary

Week 11 is pretty good. Got Baltimore vs. cincy on snf. And then eagles vs. chiefs on mnf

Luckily Sixers are on tonight.

One thing to note from yesterday is that I think, while we played under expectations, the Cowboys had a great game. Dak was flawless. Their defense made things tough on us. There were a bunch of nice plays by their guys and very few mistakes.

Which actually makes me feel pretty good. I don't think we got the best the Dolphins had to offer, but the Cowboys aren't going to play a better game this season. So we won against their A game with our C game.

It was a trap game. 🤣...for Chiefs.

So Josh Jobe gets in on one play, gets rated a 60.0, and yet his overall grade averages out to a 60.9? How does that make any sense?

I just don't think all the zone read stuff works as well without Hurts running since it takes too long to develop against good DLs when they're keying in on it. Hopefully they can use the Bye to throw in some new wrinkles to get the RBs going downhill.

I would have liked to see more Penny.  He looked good on his two attempts there.

So what’s wrong with our run game and how did we become so bad at it? I know most are going to point at Jurgens being out but I just find it hard to believe an undersized RG is the key to make this thing go.

Obviously the blog has neglected fixing the issue as we have been overly focused on red zone touches for Gainwell.

5 Straight Teams in the Playoff Hunt with Winning Records.  I am not scared but this is the gauntlet of our Schedule.

Everyone keeps saying the "gauntlet" is coming up after the bye. In reality we're already 30% of the way through the original gauntlet as Miami & Dallas were part of it.

These folks that actually say this need to explain how "it is not football."  What is football?  And what about that play is not football?

You see because they don't like it.

Jets have had alot of primetime games. I keep forgetting they expected Rodgers.

Yes, this is the energy we need.

I’m sure it’s just coach speak, but not the most encouraging

I think our run game and the blocking schemes are predicated on Hurts being able to pull it and run for chunks.  Without that threat we just run a lot of either inside/outside zone.  Not much imagination to our run game: few sweeps, no counters, few pitches, no draws.

The "Gauntlet" did begin with Miami.  I also include Washington because they play us hard and it's a division game.    The Eagles are 3-0 in the "Gauntlet" thus far.  But based on record the Eagles do have the hardest remaining schedule in the NFL.

Not sure Dallas fans would agree with this.
