So so impressed with Carter on his NFL debut! What a promising player he is!

He definitely doesn't wilt under the spotlight.

Thinking of clutch, I just had a flashback to freaking Manny Ramirez. In the playoffs against the Phils he was other worldly.

So who replaces dean? Ellis?

Dean does seem pretty injury prone

Davion Taylor is sitting out on the streets....

I'm so glad he's proving me wrong to this point. I was bullish on not drafting him. I thought his tape didn't show much or that the plays they did show were few and far between. He's a treat to watch. He plays violent and I love that.

Once Sydney Brown and Nolan Smith are full time starters, we're going to see a speed and intensity out of defenders we haven't seen in some time.

Well, yesterday was bananas.  Why the hell do you go for it on 4th and 2 there?  Why not punt that to the 20?

Philosophy.

If it works, nobody minds..

Once Sydney Brown

My god he’s quick isn’t he! That play on STs where he hits the returner right at the point of catch that was impressive.

Zach Berman leaving The Athletic

College players who physically dominate are always an interesting projection. Easy to say that can't work in the NFL.

With Carter, he still looks like he's on a different level than everyone else. He looked like the best player on the field yesterday.

Any reasons why? I have to say he never seemed a fit with Bo.

Oh snap, my best yet! Really helps when there is an entire Eagles row and when a column is 1st team All-Pro.

Alluded to something else. Some people are saying Bo is leaving too.  I haven't seen that

That was more so in the response to 400 yards vs 200 yards. Conditions weren't remotely similar to allow that type of offensive outcome yesterday. Mostly all offenses struggled with the weather yesterday including Dallas who put up a 40 burger. NE caught fire on offense yesterday when they had a period of good weather and coverage breakdowns on our part.

I understood your point, and agree with it.  I just was framing my fan experience from the two games more viscerally.  Yours is a more intellectually solid one.  Doesn’t change how my gut felt yesterday, but my head often disagrees with my gut.

Not necessarily. Like everything else there are degrees of severity.

They’re both going to AllCity sports. Probably to focus more on podcasting and creative content.

The question is will they still cover the team on a media basis.

You go to their website and it looks really low budget. No idea how they have the money to lure media guys away. Smells like a fraud scheme in their future.

I was listening to a song a little while ago and this unforgettable memory was instantly brought back to the forefront of my mind:

Yeah it would either be him or Morrow.  Evans might be able to pitch in some snaps by the time Tampa rolls around.

I’m comfortable with Elliss in the middle and Morrow on the outside

Crossing Broad made it sound like maybe a bunch of the talent is getting together.  But honestly I don't care that much.  I like certain people but there's just so much media out there and most of it is either restating the obvious or click bait

Was probably Jurgens I'd guess.

Jobe had a hit on the sideline. Brown had one even better in the middle of the field
