How did this crap team beat us?

The same way they lost to the Commanders last season: self inflicted errors and happenstance BS.

True, I missed the no timeouts part. Another lovely DeSigh orchestrated defensive face plant that almost cost us the game. I long for the days when our pass defense was actually good.

Last week AJ was able to come back to snag the reception.  This week Bradberry denied that possibility.  If he turns his head he is a hero.

This game is a perfect example of how great a teams uniforms can look (LA) and how bad a teams uniforms can look (NY).

Embiid dropped 48 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in only 31 minutes.

Sixers now 5-1.

That’s funny - was thinking the opposite.  Not a huge fan of the Chargers look.

Man, we picked the wrong EDGE at 30.

Eagles have given up 771 yards passing the last 2 games, yet the defense somehow saves the day.

Side note. PE.com just became much more useless. You can no longer access any game stats or gamebook unless you have NFL+. They used to have a game menu with a whole selection of things about the game. The only thing you can access now from that menu is the roster. For the fans!

I have NFL+ but I don’t log on for PE.com and have no issue accessing the game book.

I have no problem at all accessing the stats in the Gamebooks on PE.com.  I simply go to the Schedule page and click on the link for the game.

I dig the Chargers look.

Some of those numbers feel like they don’t pass the eye test, namely Blankenship.  He was getting targeted and burnt all afternoon.  Maybe he was racking up points for tackling the guys catching balls over him and for a bs ff/fr on the last play.

I thought Milton Williams had a few nice pressures.

Blankenship gave up one TD but I think he was better than it seemed at times. Ricks was the one who kept getting torched by Lamb.

Dicker the kicker just nailed a 55 yarder

Can already make a case that it’s the greatest trade in franchise history.

I think it’ll still take a lot to beat this

Eagles should have known what they had and traded him!

I want to see a full essay on why exactly Doug got fired. I’m happy with the ultimate  result, but there was some weird Wentz stuff going on and the Pederson dumping was a bit of a surprise at the time. I wonder what that meeting was about he had with Howie beforehand

I thought it was pretty clear Doug’s vision didn’t align with Howie/Lurie. They forced all those guys on him in 2020 and the offense was a complete mess. Then Doug doubled down and wanted to run it back with Press Taylor in charge. They even gave him a week to think it through but he didn’t change his mind.

I was a big Wentz guy. But there is obviously something up with him behind the scenes when the Giants would rather roll with a QB that can't throw past the LOS instead of signing Wentz.

At first i read this and was like why did they care so much about Doug’s visor then re-read and saw it said vision lol

From an overall product quality standpoint for the NFL, they are going to have a quarterback problem moving forward. Most of these games are just unwatchable.  We were all spoiled with guys like Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Rivers, Roethlisberger, etc throughout the past 20 years. They haven’t had enough guys step up to replace those names. There are still good quarterbacks in the league, but a majority of teams are just stuck.

And the games the past couple years have been faltering.

It’s gotta be a lot more than that. "Do you like this offensive coordinator? No? Then I quit.”

That just doesn’t seem right with a guy who made 3 straight playoff appearances before that year

Oh yeah, the behind the scenes stuff must have been really bad. Even on his worst day there aren’t 64 QBs in the world who are better.

If you think about it, his former teammates from Philly/Indy/Was will have spread to most of the teams by now. Anyone wanting a backup will look into him, and they all asked former teammates who said "stay away.”

Jets should fire everyone in the FO for allowing Wilson to continue being a starter. Even the Vikings were smart and went out and got dobbs. Dobbs with the jets would be immensely better than Wilson who’s Fing terrible.

If I’m the chargers i just run the ball every time for the rest of the game knowing the jets are never scoring 17 points

He didn’t quit, he was fired. More like "this is the guy I want to run the offense.”

”No. Hire someone else.”

”No.”

”As your boss, we are telling you to do it or you’re fired.”

Someone else said the same thing. It's there for me now, but wasn't available last night. Strange.

It was a little bit slow yesterday when compared to prior weeks.  It als comes out first without snap counts, and then adds them later
