Allen is a maniac. He wasn't remotely close to getting that 1st down.

He injured that calf a few weeks ago. I have been worried about Burrow for the same reason, calf injuries are tricky and come back too early you get an Achilles tear.

Yeah I remember KD was playing with his calf injury for the Warriors in the finals and tore his achilles during the series. 

 

 

Now all NFL fans are stuck with a ton of primetime Zach Wilson games this season.

Unless it's Brady there isn't anyone else out there that is going to make it any better for them.  And Brady isn't coming out of retirement to play behind that offensive line.

We are not discussing the same point and I recognize that it is a variation of what you posted. Mine was simply that it's early to anoint Purdy. He does have a body of work in college in which the "it" factor included both a good completion percentage but also a not-so-good TD to INT ratio. I used Foles as an example because he is just that. Also, admittedly because I know how much you like Nick Foles 😉 and invoked him when you were tooting your own horn. No need to continue with this discussion. You may very well be correct and Purdy will have a great career. He already appears much better than Smith. I have a bet with a colleague, a 9ers fan, that if Purdy is in the game when they play the Eagles that he will again be knocked out of the game. Worth risking a bottle of scotch.
