Panthers are fully committed to Young. Panthers aren't in a make or break season, a vet backup QB isn't paramount for them.

QB-ing in this league, despite the pass friendly rules, is at an all time low.  Once Rodgers goes on IR, Mahomes, Wilson, and Stafford will be the only qbs with rings.

It never worked for Wentz because he never made it to the playoffs able to play except once and he lasted a quarter in that game
