Their new show is going to be 5 days a week. That’s overkill IMO.

Seems like they are trying to create a YouTube vertical. They have Bodner & Neubeck too but who wants to hear about Sixers anymore

Shame Devon is only covering basketball now.

Wait, are you suggesting it was a bad call? In my view, it was decidedly a chop block. The fact that Stoll didn't INTEND to block the guy doesn't mean that he did NOT block the guy. He did block him...illegally. Obvious penalty.

Imagine for a moment a batter trying to avoid a pitch coming at him and while getting out of the way, the ball hits his bat. Are you suggesting the umpire should call it a ball because he didn't really mean to swing? It's the same kind of thing.

I suppose I was.  You are right.  I just hate when stuff like that happens though.  So frustrating.  And when a player is blocked into another player, it is not called, for example when a punt returner is interfered with by a gunner, but the gunner is being engaged by a blocker, there's no call for interference.  I suppose the difference is that Stoll was tripped by Kelce and not by a Patriots player when he fell.

So does The Athletic have no Eagles coverage now?

But he didn’t do that.  He haloed him, just like they do in college, then hit him.  Perfect hit and avoids any defenseless player call.  The one on the sideline where Jones bobbled it was perfect in that he saw the bobble and played through the halo.  The look Jones is giving him as the ball goes out of bounds is priceless.  Mac Jones is one of the best returners I have ever watched.  (UH in college).  Yet Brown got in his head.

Marcus?   Mac is their QB.

Send out that resume

I hope Rodgers doesn’t retire, don’t want to see him go out like that.

🤷‍♂️

The alternative was him throwing teammates and coaches under the bus after a season-ending loss, so ....

We traded Joe Flacco to the Jets under Joe Douglas.

Howie will 100% offer Mariota.

Well, it's Wilson and then Tim Boyle on the Practice Squad .... so somebody is getting signed at QB.

-- Flacco was there before with minimal success, so I can't see it being him

-- Ryan is totally washed, the Jets would be dumb to bring him in

-- I doubt Rivers has any interest in a full season despite the Niners thing last year

-- F.U., Brady

-- Joe Douglas was in Philly when both Wentz and Foles were here .... neither would be inspiring, but Foles fits their current need better.

They will likely acquire a retread like Winston or Bridgewater.  Both are less inspiring than Wentz or Foles IMO.

Wentz wouldn't be a bad choice if he's brought in as a back up.  I think he has some upside in the offense.  Wilson also could improve but he just looks lost most of the time.

Honestly, I could probably do that job in my spare time as long as my wife doesn't mind me travelling every weekend.

Chris Long said someone from the Eagles organization told him when he visited Eagles training camp that Jalen Carter is the best Eagles defensive player already.

.  I noticed it yesterday and you said Mac Jones for the punt returner and it caught me off guard.  I thought it was a joke of some sort that I just didn't get.  Then you did it again, and figured I had to be missing something else.  Marcus, Mac... what's the difference.  Vince Dimaggio was just as good as his brother... right?

And Allen being careless with the ball

The defense made him that way. That's probably a top 3 D already.

Now we're really in trouble

The Ringsrs Power Rankings kept Chiefs at #1 despite losing but moved the Eagles down several spots despite winning.

PICK NO. 9: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: DI JALEN CARTER

Overall Rookie Grade: 92.1 (Rank: 1/11)
Principal Opponent: Sidy Sow/Atonio Mafi
Week 1 Snaps: 40

Simply put, it is borderline unfair that Carter fell to Philadelphia in the draft. He was the best player on the field against New England, and his 92.1 overall grade ranked second among all defensive tackles on Sunday. Carter racked up eight pressures, including one sack, repeatedly forcing Mac Jones to get rid of the football early. He is already a nightmare for opposing offensive lines

Clearly it's to get our playbook.

No way he even knew it

When the Eagles didn't make it to the playoffs or were eliminated I'd root for the Packers because Rodgers was fun to watch for the NFC

Hoping it's nothing serious

Now that is how you draft boys.  Throwing up the goose eggs

I think you have a better chance of just setting your lineup once, burning some sage, and praying that this pile of crap lucks into a few wins during the bye weeks.

I thought that at first too, but we’re going to crush them now. Hurts doesn’t throw those stupid picks Allen did last night, and we win comfortably.

When it affects the Eagles, that takes precedence

Solid point. I had that as a win anyway, but it does make it easier.
